Again, what’s “real” and parent coach got to do with it? It doesn’t matter, just a good decent coach. Don’t you think some coaches are parents and vice-versa? That’s missing the point. You could be a “real” coach but poor in all areas or a parent coach that’s excellent. Just give us a good coach. The argument is so tiring. And yes, I’ve experienced both side- excellent parent coach and pooptastic “real” coach that has absolutely no business being in front of kids! Talk about second hand embarrassment.

Let’s get this to 200!

Valor is awful. Coaching if awful. Games are awful. The whole thing is awful. It’s incestuous breed of people working together- look at all the people that also have multiple titles and “job functions”…
I can’t stand….. go!

Its bait and switch. People bring their kids to try outs and are promised that their $3000 is going towards an experienced and professional coach. Then they get a parent coach, so there's drama with the coach's kid and of course, a parent coach is not an experienced, professional coach.

We don't live anywhere near Valor but I have always thought their admins and head guys must be incredibly tone deaf--possibly on the spectrum--to have so many unhappy parents compared to every single other shady club in the DMV. How do you alienate SO many parents?

It's hard to tell with an anonymous forum. Could be a handful could be 100 it's probably somewhere in the middle.

isn't the saying that for every 1 unhappy customer who posts online, there are 10 more unhappy customers...

Babe, there's 149 pages of complaints. We all knew there were this many unhappy parents. Every season there is a fresh crop of disgusted parents posting in here.

Complain about Valor all you want but yet they still field teams. Speak with your actions at tryouts. Just go to one of the 32 clubs up there.
