Beto lost to Ted Cruz, who has to be the most unlikable politician in America. The grift continues… |
I am not concerned with Beto’s skateboarding nor what he does on his own time. It’s a new phenomenon for people to think that politicians should be other than human, fallible. Abbott is bad for Texas. Full stop. I’m thankful that Jen is using her platform to amplify Beto’s message. |
Tell us you don’t understand Texas politics without saying you don’t understand Texas politics. 🙄 |

I think Jen and Beto are like fraternal twins. For goodness sake, if Democrats want to take Texas, please get someone who is a grown up
About my comment on Jen undoing 2000 years of Christianity- I am the first to agree that over time, there have been and should be wrongs corrected. In fact I am a Lutheran, so there's that. She goes further. She makes it clear that she is sick of the whole darn mess and thinks sitting on her porch swing is all the church she needs. Reformer she is not, deconstructing is not always for the better, and unfortunately I think her place as a Christian influencer should be over. But that's just me. |
Beto and Jen have a lot in common. They both were last culturally relevant in 2018. |
Or embrace the power of "and" to make it about both things. |

I ❤️ Abbott |
Yeah, f*ck the planet! And the second-graders! And especially the trans teens. Anyway, as I was saying, conservatives are PERSECUTED in this country. |
Trolls be trollin |
I’m the worst online hater cause I watch Jen’s videos from her me camp and I’m beguiled by her smile and utter joy. Today she’s off to pick up Tyler and I don’t even care he’s on the down low cause I know that rush of anticipation of getting to see a new love after being apart. I’m gonna chalk this relationship up as her rebound affair with someone nothing like her ex. Half the reason she’s so undone by him is because he not like anyone else in her life, ever. It’s like he’s this unexplored land and we all know how she’s delighted by new places. Enjoy the ride for all it’s worth. This is how she’ll learn about adult romantic relationships.
Btw Tyler finally officially announced his relationship with Jen on FB and posted the link to their double date podcast with Glennon and Abby. He used that phase about them being all grown up and whole. How do they know they are all whole? His lifetime of singlehood? Her entire adulthood a codependent marriage? Oh well, time will tell. |
I don't have any sense as to whether or not this relationship is real or healthy, but one thing that was cringey was when Jen announced that she was with Tyler and a bevy hypocritical of those who claim to value all people equally of her followers had to post pictures with their African American husbands/ partners. I thought it was disrespectful of these men for these women to use them like a prop or a trophy. I don't like it when men or women objectify their partners as a notch on a belt or a status symbol. And how incredibly |
Woah that got sorted out weirdly![]() |
But here is my point- when my daughter went to a pricey Christian college, every girl had a photo on her bulletin board of herself with a little African American child riding on her shoulder. That's great, that's wonderful. No doubt many were sincere. But our Christianity shouldn't be a photo op and people are not props. It's like Jen using ANC as a photo backdrop. To some of these people, life is a photo op. |
