There are men that shape their eyebrows or have naturally shaped eyebrows. Also, the eyebrow thing could be an optical illusion caused by the ski mask.

Meanwhile, if the ransom notes turned out to be a hoax, or if the person with her mother did not provide proof of life, or at least further communication to provide her body, then she wouldn't end up paying.

But if certain conditions were met, she wanted them to know (or at least think) that there could be a payout.

Pretty sure she was making them under the direction of the FBI. They were very clearly worded by law enforcement and not her own natural words.
