Agree with PP. Longstanding tradition gives confession a special privilege. For that matter, so does marriage.

In some states infidelity is illegal. Children have parents who should report abuse. Next, lawyers will be required to disclose client communication.

I believe the files were too valuable to have been destroyed. Either the CIA or Mossad us currently using those files, if not for financial extortion, then for influence or to enforce silence. And the files are only valuable if kept secret, hence they will never be released

Context is sort of important. when Biden took office, we were in the middle of a pandemic and J6 had just happened. The adminnistration had to get legislation through to help rebuild the economy and had to clean up the various messes Trump left. Epstein at that point was no where near the top or middle of the agenda. And at the time, there were not really people clamoring for the release like they are now. In fact, I would argue that the only reason it is an issue is because Trump made it one while he was running for office and MAGA is now calling him out for it. the dems have never said they wanted to protect Bill Clinton or anyone else who might be on the list.

Correct, but that’s a failing on all our parts. We should always try to prosecute crimes against children.

Someone is not going to leak. The downside is too great. There are too many powerful men involved, which is why there has never been justice for the victims.
