Context is sort of important. when Biden took office, we were in the middle of a pandemic and J6 had just happened. The adminnistration had to get legislation through to help rebuild the economy and had to clean up the various messes Trump left. Epstein at that point was no where near the top or middle of the agenda. And at the time, there were not really people clamoring for the release like they are now. In fact, I would argue that the only reason it is an issue is because Trump made it one while he was running for office and MAGA is now calling him out for it. the dems have never said they wanted to protect Bill Clinton or anyone else who might be on the list.

Wrong about the Democrats. Remember, it was Democrats who led the charge to throw Al Franken under the bus for merely pretending to be creepy. Democrats are all saying RELEASE THE FILES. At this point the only people blocking it are the Republicans. Democrats voted unanimously to release the files, with Ro Khanna pushing an amendment to publish the files on July 15th. Stop with the "bothsides" and handwaving. Right now Trump and the Congressional Republicans are the only ones blocking it. Democrats are more than willing to give up any creep named in the files. Republicans are the only ones blocking it, and they are doing it to protect Trump. They sure as hell aren't doing it to protect "Bill Clinton" or "Bill Gates" or whoever else on the D side.

Well, the files were sealed until 2024 so there is that. I also don’t recall Biden running for office and promising the files would be released.

They have been doing the bidding of the 1% since before Reagan was elected. "Trickle down" has done nothing but benefit the 1%. Tax reforms and tax cuts have done noting but benefit the 1%.
