Ikr? Biden doesn't release it. Why? And now Trump won't release it. Why? Now everybody wants to see it, so let's see it. Democrats want to see it. Republicans want to see it Independents want to see it. Maga wants to see it. It is the only thing that's unifying the country right now so let's see it. |
Context is sort of important. when Biden took office, we were in the middle of a pandemic and J6 had just happened. The adminnistration had to get legislation through to help rebuild the economy and had to clean up the various messes Trump left. Epstein at that point was no where near the top or middle of the agenda. And at the time, there were not really people clamoring for the release like they are now. In fact, I would argue that the only reason it is an issue is because Trump made it one while he was running for office and MAGA is now calling him out for it. the dems have never said they wanted to protect Bill Clinton or anyone else who might be on the list. |
Neither side wants to release it because there are names of " important" democrats abd republicans on there. |

We know that there are powerful people that don’t want it released, but voters want it all released and investigated. We should try to at least all come together on that. |
Wrong about the Democrats. Remember, it was Democrats who led the charge to throw Al Franken under the bus for merely pretending to be creepy. Democrats are all saying RELEASE THE FILES. At this point the only people blocking it are the Republicans. Democrats voted unanimously to release the files, with Ro Khanna pushing an amendment to publish the files on July 15th. It failed, 211-210 on party lines. Democrats voted FOR, Republicans voted AGAINST release. https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5402215-republicans-democrats-vote-epstein-files Also in the House Rules committee it was Republicans who blocked it, 5 for release to 7 against release with only one Republican, Ralph Norman voting in favor of release. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/republicans-block-vote-to-release-epstein-files/ar-AA1ICJB2 And when Democrats continued to push for release, Republican Speaker Mike Johnson refused to take it up and instead shut down Congress to prevent a vote on releasing the Epstein files. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/mike-johnson-shuts-down-us-house-until-september-to-prevent-congress-from-voting-to-release-epstein-files/ar-AA1J5TVK Stop with the "bothsides" and handwaving. Right now Trump and the Congressional Republicans are the only ones blocking it. Democrats are more than willing to give up any creep named in the files. Republicans are the only ones blocking it, and they are doing it to protect Trump. They sure as hell aren't doing it to protect "Bill Clinton" or "Bill Gates" or whoever else on the D side. |
It's unconscionable that the GOP continues to do the bidding of the rich and powerful 1% while ignoring the will of the people. |
Well, the files were sealed until 2024 so there is that. I also don’t recall Biden running for office and promising the files would be released. |
Why? They have been doing the bidding of the 1% since before Reagan was elected. "Trickle down" has done nothing but benefit the 1%. Tax reforms and tax cuts have done noting but benefit the 1%. |
“The list” is a red herring — there was certainly a cache of blackmail VIDEOS featuring some of the most powerful Americans engaging in God knows what depravity. |
No one cares if it's called a list or a cache or a collection or pile or a bag or a box or a bunch... Just release it whatever it is. If it's written, the people can read it. If it's on video the people can watch it. If it's audio the people can listen to it. |
Bondi referenced videos in a correspondence to Patel. I wonder if Elon might have it all. Notice that despite the fact that Elon got the ball rolling on all this no threats from Trump. |
This should have been overturned. Confession is sacrosanct and if priests are required to report child abuse then they can be required to report rape, murder. Infidelity. |
