Are you still with the team? The 2013G's now have one of the best young coaches in the area. |
You have to pay in full. You cannot get your player card released until you are paid in full for the whole year so you wouldn't be able to switch teams until that happened. If you quit travel altogether you will still have to pay but could put if off until you get sent to collections. Wouldn't recommend that route tho. |
Never going to happen. Parents game been complaining all season about a second team coach all the way up to the TD. Valor doesn't care as long as the parents keep paying, which they have been. Last year was no better. |
"Board of Directors", right? JS is as guilty in this as the rest of them. And their mission "TO ENCOURAGE, INSPIRE AND ENPOWER EACH PLAYER AND COACH TO BE ABLE TO REACH THE HIGHEST LEVEL POSSIBLE WITHIN THE GAME AND THEIR LIVES." Laughable. |
A little too late imo. Those girls have been coachless for 3 years and now finally getting a good coach isn’t enough for them. Look at their record. They are struggling. As for contacting the league director I know a parent (they forwarded it to me) emailed a very very lengthy email to Paul and the girls director last year and they didn’t even have the pulse to respond. They ended up leaving the club after lasts years problematic behavior with the coach/club. They honestly do not care. The writing it on the wall we can all see it. We have already reached out to some other clubs so we can get our kid out there for tryouts in the spring. Valor is a dumpster fire!!! Also we let pe know about issues with cs and nothing was done about that either. |
CS was one of the main reasons we left Valor. He coached the youngest girl groups, and the worst person to introduce travel soccer to young girls. Yelling and threatening 7 yo girls, smh. Way to scare off kids and parents from continuing travel soccer. He also had favorites, and DD wasn’t one of them so we left. Heard of many families that were unhappy with him, but he continued to be involved with the ulittles until this year. Instead of getting rid of him, he was moved to the second team of older girls. |
CS is the WORST. |
I agree CS should never have been coaching children. He was a terrible coach. |
Especially little girls! |
Wow 148 pages hating on this club? We are moving into the area next spring and was looking into area clubs. Didn’t this club have that ecnl rl girls team that is really good? I thought they went to regionals. Couldn’t be that bad. |
had.. that coach left. As did the multiple girls from that team |
General rule of thumb as a consumer, avoid the one option everyone seems to have had a bad experience with. |
Absolutely. Avoid valor if your kid is truly into soccer. I think it is a good club for kids wanting a little more than rec league but less of a real travel team experience. |
No, its the worst for those kids, because the club considers them expendable wallets. They get parent coaches but have to pay $3000 same as the kids with real coaches. |
