how?

I think this particular moving goalposts comment is regarding only letting the $8/month crowd vote in twitter polls going forward.

Also maybe this?

It's astounding he thinks it's "bots." He's delusional. He's suffering from serious cognitive dissonance. Were all the people who booed him at Chappelle's show "bots?" Nope. They were humans. Just like the millions of annoyed humans who voted for him to step down.

It's also kind of comical that he's trying to blame "bots" after already having made the claim that he got rid of all of the bots. Does not compute.

He's blindly flailing and winging it every step of the way.

Fanboi Mark Penn cherrypicking a poll result for Elon.

I wonder if Snoop Dog won his twitter poll (“should I run twitter”) because of bots. Lol

Elon is more attention starved than Trump. He loves being the center of attention, regardless of consequence. It’s sad and pathetic.

Sounds rather Trumpian.

I'm 90% sure he ran that poll because he is trying to find new money, and the money people told him he needs a new CEO. He probably thought the poll would prove to the money that he's popular.

And if you go through his twitter feed, it's not surprising. His followers love him. But that poll got retweeted 437,000 times -- way beyond his follower base.

Take a barely profitable company, bury with debt payments, get rid of its largest source of revenue and the hope there is someone dumb enough to invest? Unless he’s putting up collateral unrelated to Twitter, that isn’t happening

He ran the poll because he is a hyperegotist whi couldn’t contemplate anything than near universal affirmation.

Honest question — why is this thread 149 pages i.e. why does anyone care about this guy? Or a social media website? He owns a website that people use to post stupid blurbs. I barely knew who the guy was besides that he was the founder of Tesla.

Elon Musk was not the founder of Tesla. Tesla was founded by Marc Tarpenning and Martin Eberhard. Musk just gave money and bought himself the CEO position.

Because there is nothing so much fun as watching a bully go down

+1

Just a few observations:

1. Many people with unfulfilling lives tend to gravitate towards politics.
2. Almost all of these people, due to their lack of critical thinking skills and consumption of propaganda, pick a side.
3. When someone attacks their side, they get angry.
4. And when they get angry, they become hyperfocused on weird things like Elon or whatever.
5. Part of their anger is derived from the fact that they have no power to change anything in our society.
4. These people have a never ending list of grievances, so the cycle keeps repeating itself.
