I don’t think it would be considered normal for serious athletes. Some freshman are about 12 months from entering the recruiting cycle. Drinking on the weekends is probably the last thing they should be doing now to prepare for that.

I'm afraid you may be in for a rude awakening, depending on the school your DD attends. At some of these schools, the minute you make Varsity you're expected to attend parties where, yes, high school kids are drinking and many of them are in the midst of recruiting or have just been recruited.

It is. Talked to a mom from heros green and she didn’t know scores but said both were double digits against and count on one hand for. Rough day for cap blue.

It was 12-5 vs Heros, def got throttled

SW is retooled however it was closer. Maybe 4 point loss.

I’m sure there is Capital uncertainty after that “play day”

You guys must be new here. Capital freshman teams never play well in the Fall and always get "throttled" at the play day. Go back and read the 27 thread where all of you said the same things then....or even 26. Then come back on 9/1/27.

Yeah, yeah. We heard this same cope last fall when the 2028s stunk it up early on. They continued to stink the entire year, even losing to cclax in the summer.
