How long have you lived here?
What's your political affiliation? Do you call it "BWI" or "Thurgood Marshall"? |
|
National.
Lived here all of my 45 years. Democrat, but that's not why I call it National. I'm just stuck in my ways. BWI. Same reason. |
|
National and BWI.
Democrat. 15 years. But, I also used to work next to the "Reagan" building downtown. So, calling both the airport and the building "Reagan" would have been confusing. |
| Lived here 18 years, Democrat. I call them national and BWI. |
|
Lived here since 1993 and call them National & BWI, just easier to say.
Political affliation...does it matter? |
|
National and BWI.
Democrat. 7 years. |
| 20 years, independent, it will always be National and BWI for me b/c that's what I heard them called when I started living here. |
|
Washington National and BWI. I first knew them both as Washington National and BWI and that is what I will always call them both.
Independent, so I don't get a lot of action. |
| I call it National, but I'm a lifer (and a Democrat). |
| National and BWI, 14 years. democrat. I use National out of stubbornness. It never occurred to me to call BWI anything else. |
| National. I've lived here since 1995 and learned to call it National then. Except for the airlines, I frankly have never heard it called Reagan Airport by a local. Ditto BWI. |
|
"Reagan National" or "DCA"
"BWI" Unaffiliated 7 years |
| I am 14:12. OP, it would be nice if you could answer your own question |
|
National.
Dem And, yeah, I have no interest in calling it "Reagan" unless someone doesn't understand what I'm talking about. But I use BWI just because my brain hasn't focused on the change. |
