Do you call it "Reagan" or "National"?

Always BWI. Are people seriously calling it Thurgood Marshall?

I've lived here my whole life so I don't know if I'll ever change.

Back in the day, BWI was called "Friendship."

The only people who are seriously calling it "Thurgood Marshall" are some Baltimore city politicians who lobbied for the name change.

Because I never liked Reagan and do not believe he deserves to have anything named after him. He sent this country into the selfish, greedy, polarizing direction that it has yet recover from.

14:38, did you move here from the West Coast? We'll go along with "Reagan" if you give up saying "the" in front of numbers of Interstates.

I don't mind that they say it. What bugs me are tv shows and movies that are supposedly based on the East Coast where they say "the" 95.

No self respecting local calls it Reagan, geez. And yes it is petty, but I don't care. I might have gone with Reagan if they'd at least waited until he was dead, but the whole manner in which it went down was annoying.

I call them Reagan and BWI.

Republican leaning and love Reagan the man, which is one of the reasons I call the airport "Reagan".

Reagan or DCA; BWI. I didn't even realize that BWI had a different name...

been here 10 yrs, unaffiliated but I do think Reagan was a looker in his youth.

I grew up in the area and my dad is a DC native. My dad is a ranting Limbaugh/teaparty/birther type. But when they changed the name from "Washington National" to "Reagan," he was against it saying, "that airport was already named for a perfectly good president."

And the airport somehow symbolizes this, what with that sliver of Washington-ness tucked in a hidden recess of Reagan?
