Wendy lives in Carroll County near Westminster. I think she's been a nice addition but she lives about 1.5 hours away from Potomac.

Ehh... on the basis of this alone she should not be on the show. Honestly, the show is boring because there isn’t enough glitz and glam. Replace her and Candiace with two people like Katie from Season 1 and then the ratings of the show will go up. People watch these shows because they want to see how the “other half” lives.

I have plenty of very interesting, funny and intelligent friends in their late 30's/early 40's who live in the Potomac/Bethesda areas. However, the challenge is finding folks who are willing to put their lives out there for the public eye. Most people with any kind of sense know better then to go down that road.

Eh..... I could leave her as well as Candiace. I would rather have Katie or Charisse back. I think Wendy helped to break the relationship even further between Candiace, Ashley, and Monique.

+1. Wendy is annoying, but Candice is a whole other level of narcissistic, shit stirring toxicity.

I agree. I hate violence but have a hard time supporting her through this. If you look at her social media, she is that awful combo of ignorance paired with strong opinions. She was vile throughout Ashley's pregnancy. Candiass is the worst traits of her mother.

I can't stand Charisse so have no interest in seeing her. I like Wendy now but omg her interview look with the 80s styling is so, so, very bad.

I’d like her better if she would stop yapping about her degrees and being a professor and news commentator. She is quite full of herself.

I think calling herself a professor there is a stretch. She wasn't tenured and there is no way they would let her do this show if she were on the tenure track. I think she had already left.

I'm a former student of hers. She is still a professor at Hopkins, teaching I believe two classes right now. She's an assistant professor, so yes, not tenured. For the record, she was one of the best professors I had at Hopkins.

Also, I'm sure that the producers want her to be talking about the academia angle.

I've changed my opinion of her based on the last 2 shows because she's an excellent communicator. I could see that making for a great educator.

+100. Carroll County is a dump. You can get a mansion there for 600-700k. I agree with you on the lack of glitz and glam. I almost laughed when Juan says his ring budget is 10k. That’s every other family in my neighborhood and I live in a pretty normal area.

Oh wow, how long is Wendy’s commute to do filming? She is way out there!

I felt sad knowing he'd be judged (and laughed at and torn to pieces) after being vulnerable. Sure, he could say $100k, and go into debt and ruin his family's lives to put on a show for you, but I was happy to hear him just be real.

+1000 Anyone who watches the show knows they went from rich to broke and are clawing their way back. If you're laughing at him for spending his money responsibly you're an idiot. And nobody (I do mean nobody) is impressed by your engagement ring, either.

PPs point is that this is a show about the RICH and famous. Why are they on the show? They are not rich.

Then he's on the wrong show.

Aw look at you defending him! Do you know him personally or can you relate to being broke? I agree with other posters who said this is not the show for that. We’re here for the folks who can spend 20x that and not break the bank.

Honestly, I hate to say this, but when I saw the attorney Candiance hired from Atlanta, I thought, is that the best she could get? No one in DC? He was NO match for A. Scott Bolden in DC.

D.C. attorneys are expensive!

Her mother probably wouldn't foot the bill. She doesn't have a job and her husband has 3 kids to pay for. Shes such a phony. Rumor has it she refused to meet up with Monique to discuss so Monique could apologize. She wanted cash...

How is RHOP not a job?

Why eye roll? It is a job. She probably makes good money from it and has to invent story lines for herself to keep it interesting

Her mama being in all her business. Getting married was the season closer last year.

Monique did her a favor. What was her story line before the wig pull?

That’s incorrect.
