PBS and npr are airing it, they will show it raw and unedited. No escape hatches for dementia Don |

Trump State of the Union BINGO

A surprise visit from his prairie dog. |
Love that for him. |

Trump's brain flits wildly from Mamdani to shoveling snow to having a conversation with a woman in the audience who has bad eyes. He claims he "gave her a lot of money to get her eyes fixed." This event is totally off the rails.

Love it. But where’s coal? And saving 1000% on prescription drugs? |

If you don’t want “Bongo” in the first two minutes, you’re going to need a bigger bingo card. |

Please don’t watch it. We’re shooting for “least watched SOTU address ever.” It would be a good opportunity to read a book. |
I'm just not convinced that refusing to watch would do anything. I'm all for not watching to protect your mental health, your desire not to be embarrassed by our POTUS, or whatever, but watching or not watching is -- I think -- unlikely to matter to him or the GOP. But that's with the caveat that nothing terrifically newsworthy happens. If he has a room-clearing moment, or walks into a wall or off a stage, or (god forbid) stops being able to move half his face, it would matter how many people saw it live. Maybe? So. If you are going to watch, do what you must to make it bearable. For me, that's marking off my Bingo card. |
