I'm all for not watching to protect your mental health, your desire not to be embarrassed by our POTUS, or whatever, but watching or not watching is -- I think -- unlikely to matter to him or the GOP. But that's with the caveat that nothing terrifically newsworthy happens. If he has a room-clearing moment, or walks into a wall or off a stage, or (god forbid) stops being able to move half his face, it would matter how many people saw it live. Maybe? So.
