Tired of liberal intolerance

We get it. You people hate Christians especially Catholics. In your ideal world you would have a country with no Christianity. This is sort of typical of the modern liberal, profess to be very tolerant and open minded except about things they disagree with. So go ahead and enjoy putting people of faith down and trying to force your view of morality down our throats while screaming tolerance.

It isn't just people of faith. It is people with different views generally. "liberal" is such an ironic word to describe them - they are as closed as the conservatives they bash.

You just don't get it, do you. Stop trying to shove your priorities down our throats (and for the Catholics, do something to your priests when they rape little children) and we won't object to you as much.
You want to have 12 kids you can't support? Go for it. But don't try to force this on all families everywhere.

Please stop forcing you religious views and beliefs on the rest of us.

I have no problem with Catholics or Christians, however, when I feel like I'm supposed to live and breath your beliefs and views and you try to force it down my throat, then I have a problem.

Don't believe in contraception-Don't take pills, or use an IUD
Don't believe in abortion-Don't have one

I will respect you for following your religion and it's teachings, because I think that's commendable.
But what right do you have telling me what I should and should not do based on what your religion tells you.

To add I would not call myself a liberal at all.
Stay out of my personal life. Thank you.

One more thing: when you have the 12 kids you can't support, we will feed them free lunch and get them free healthcare anyway. Because, see, we're liberal that way.

being liberal / atheist is it's own religion, they decry religion and government mixing while they try to mandate their beliefs through government policies.

The thing I hate about liberals is that they are all exactly the same. What is true for one liberal is true for every last one of them.

I guess I'm confused because I'm one of those liberal Christians.

WRONG. I don't care if you are Christian, Catholic, whatever the hell you are. Keep your faith out of MY life. And then we will all get along.

Anytime you want to bitch about religious intolerance I have only one response. VAGINA. Because of religious people who want to push their religion on others, I had to listen to my freakin legislature use the word VAGINA like 700 freakin times in the last two weeks.

Keep your religion out of my VAGINA and we will all get along.

Ha!!! YOU are tired??? Yooooooooooou are tired?!

I am tired, exhausted even, from fighting to have my relationship recognized by my government. It has real consequences in my life- retirement, custody, insurance, etc. There is no secular argument against recognizing my marriage, only a religious one.

Tired. Pshaw. I'll show you tired.

It's not really an issue of tolerance. I think the difference here is that liberals put the Constitution ahead of religion when it comes to the governmental creation, interpretation, and enforcement of public policy. Conservatives will take their respective religion over the Constitution any day.

To me you just summed up the religious right.

Except as I already said, it is not our THROATS you are trying to force things into.

i would say that both sides are a little crazy with the religious rhetoric. on the right, you got extreme religious folks who look down on folks who dont "practice" faith to the max or who in some way shape or form done believe. on the left, you got a lot of people who do there best to be anti-religious just to throw it right back in a conservatives face.

basically, both sides try to be as extreme as possible to counter the other sides point of view. thats the very quick and dirty of it all. there are of course exceptions but the loudest folks are the extremes and thats why all this back and forth gets absurd sometimes.
