The White Lotus season 2

Loved that episode! Great ending written for Tanya. Quentin and crew got what they deserved. Too bad Greg gets the money now.

There isn't a wife on the planet that would believe their husband after they found a used condom wrapper on their hotel room couch. Especially after he never answered his phone and admitted to using molly, then was evasive about the full scope of the evening.

I'd believe mine. Especially hanging out with a guy like Cam.

Yeah I’d believe my husband in that scenario

Portia sucks

Wow, Daphne/Cam brought Harper/Ethan down to their level. Mission accomplished, I guess?

Great ending. I thought the piano man was going to take out Mia. But I loved how it ended.

We don’t know that it didn’t go further, Harper kept minimizing details and Ethan kept prying more and more new info of her. Ethan doesn’t believe Harper when he storms out of the room to after Cam.

She’s clearly guilty and minimizing - they specifically went upstairs to bang!

She banged him. I thought she was going to finally confess it right before she asked “what’s going to happen to us?” It was so obvious she was lying and minimizing. Her story kept changing. He was all sexually charged up and feeling like a man after having banged Daphne earlier in the day.

Now if Harper actually found out he banged Daphne- she’d be done and divorce him. I think she would have quite the double standard when she’s the victim and not the cheater.

That was my thoughts. They now aren’t so different. They can’t play superior.

Yeah, it was. She was so flustered. There were a million other choices she could have made, from tying the rope to the banister to finding a ladder but, I mean, as a woman her size (though a bit younger) you do start to feel a bit less agile as the years go by. Jumping off of a boat and then climbing into another isn't an easy feat.

It’s just too sad she doesn’t know boats have doors and layers and a low deck in the back. she didn’t even hit her head on the way down.

I loved the scene with her and Albie at the end. They are both ready for nice and normal after their experiences

Yeah what Daphne says is “Do what you need to not feel like a victim.”

Though I think a lot is left open to interpretation. Did Harper have sex with Cameron or was it as she said, that he just kissed her? If that was it, why did she text Ethan about getting a hat? Do Ethan and Daphne have sex on the little island or just mess around?

I think the point is that we don’t know, and neither do they (meaning the spouses who suspect but can’t know), and on some level it doesn’t matter. What we are shown is what “matters”, which is Ethan and Harper finally being intimate again.

But it’s not like Daphne/Cameron are sold as an ideal. At all. That scene of Daphne talking to her kids and calling for Cameron to come talk to them and he’s super annoyed and then just arranges a smile on his face before he walks in? You can read that as him setting aside his issues to be present for his wife and kids. Or you can read it as him putting on a front to keep Daphne happy do he can do what he actually wants the rest of the time. Two sides of the same coin.

Also at dinner when Cameron and Daphne are like “this has been so great!” My DH and I were both just like “they are sociopaths.” Like they’re insane! Not aspirational. But I am ultimately happy for Ethan and Harper that they came back together by following D/C’s lead.

Yeah. I thought maybe she’d pop up because her head didn’t hit the boat. I didn’t want her to die

Portia is a terrible user and dim. She doesn't deserve Albie.

Quentin with mouth bleeding blood and Tonya “is Greg cheating??”
🤣

Would have been good closure.

She needed to shoot them all since mafia guy would be after her.

Good thing she got that call from Portia to confirm what was going on. Neither were able to play it cool thereafter.

So Allie knew he was played since she left before saying goodbye or having a morning?

Why does everyone assume Tanya figured it out? I still think it’s possible she was wrong about all of it, and they were just going to try and convince her to lend them money or something. The Jack stuff looks really bad but he was an idiot so who knows.

It’s still possible she put the clues together wrong and killed those people for no reason.

Maybe the will and trust go to something else. Why would it be your latest marriage partner of a couple years?

So unless Greg gets the video, no witnesses and presses the prenup adultery clause to get half a billion $$$ who knows.
