Snow day

Exactly! Friend is tell us how icy the sidewalk are. Ok…the same sidewalk the kid walked up and down all day to go to the sledding hill where they flew down on ice dodging trees.

Our roads are a mess. We don’t have sidewalks. There is no way kids walking to the bus and school buses can safely navigate the roads.

How is Loudoun able to open but not Fairfax?

Arlington is open too. And MCPS. Ugh.

And Alexandria.

Shame on Dr. Reid. What’s the plan? You need to identify a plan to reopen. All I read is whining in her message

Of course they have if something hasn’t been shoveled or plowed by now it’s not happening. Because now it’s just been turned into ice chunks.

There aren’t enough plows and workers. This isn’t rocket science.

After the Inauguration.

+1 haha

LOL oh I missed that colorful poster

With small additional snow on Saturday, the plow will make a good progress by Sunday evening.

Friday will be closed.
Monday will be 2 hours delay.

Take it or leave it.

No, my kid is a teenager. I think the parents of early elementary are the ones that are mad about that.

I’m an early elementary parent. This is why I have a backup care contract.

Unfortunately said child is currently sick so we are making it work.

I’m the pp with the teen. I did too. I’m not sure why so many in fcps don’t have a backup plan. Hope your child feels better soon pp.

I’d rather deal with that headache than the fear of putting a child on a bus on these roads

One more time for the people in the back: Fairfax is much larger and more densely populated AND got more snow. Most of Loudoun got 5 inches. Many parts of Fairfax got twice that amount.
