Then you are a moron and can reap the consequences. This is not a platform for Palestinian A to speak out about their issues, I say this as someone who has been and is a staunch Gaza supporter.

As for Jewish speakers, I saw Josh Shapiro but he was there as a governor, not as a person of Jewish faith. Also, politics is never about 100% this or that, it’s about timing. Like it or not but politics is never about idealism, there is a whole lot of gray and a smidge of black and white.

Name call all you want; it’s the DNC who are cowards and decided that kowtowing to Zionists was their priority, to the point of denying even a single Palestinian-American the opportunity to speak. They’ll lose my vote if they can’t fix that.

Go take a hike. After tumultuous 8-9 months of infighting within the party, we have reached this fragile unity, people like you can sit on the sidelines and sulk all you want. We don’t want your vote, you can reminisce about the good old days when Trump is back.

And it will be worse. Harris at least tries to walk the very thin line with being supportive of Israel while commiserating over Arab deaths. She has come out and verbally chastised Netanyahu about the wide-scale Arab death toll and the need for humanitarian aid to the Gazans.

Trump is a very, very pro-Israel supporter and has said nothing about protection or support for the Arabs. Trump has made no objections to Israel's defense of their borders and the singleminded determination of the Israelis to destroy Hamas even if it means horrific Arab civilian sacrifices.

So, while there are Arab sympathetic objectors to the current administration, voting for Trump or sitting out the election will actually be worse for US support of Palestinians. PP who says that Harris would lose your support, do you really realize that Trump will be worse for the Palestinians than Harris? She at least supports humanitarian aid for the Gazans and decries the violence against civilians that Hamas is using as human shields. Trump will not verbally support the Arabs, does not discourage Israeli violence against Palestinians and does not support humanitarian aid to Gaza.

So, why do you think that you supporting Trump or sitting out the election carries the message you want to send?

Why weren't there protests at the RNC, hmmm?

Because Dems actually care about Gaza. They are just trying to three an extremely delicate needle to keep the party unified for the election. But some Dem voters want more on Gaza and think protesting can get concessions, like. Speaker at the Convention. Understandable. But not helpful to getting Harris elected. And if she isn’t elected, Gaza will be wiped off the map.

So why no protestors at the R convention? Because everyone knows Trump doesn’t give a flying flip about Gaza and there are zero concession to be had. And Rs would be fine with protestors, who they would pain as violent leftists.

In related news, Rs would also be fine with LGBTQ protestors at their convention. Dems would actually care.

The problem is the Gaza protestors are like BERNIE bros. They want all their demands met now for they re sitting in a corner and sulking. That they don’t get that compromise is needed to reach a larger goal. They refuse to be team players, then yell when they aren't in the starting lineup.

Making room for one prominent Palestinian-American speaker would have been the right thing to do.

Instead, the DNC powerbrokers decided that bending over backwards to demonstrate their allegiance to Israel was the expedient thing to do.

Maybe it is from a polling perspective but Harris has lost my vote. If she’s too much of a coward to insist on what’s right at a convention, she certainly don’t have the courage to stand up to Netanyahu and the Jewish lobby if elected.

Sure. Making room for a prominent pro Palestinian that recognizes Israel’s right to exists, denounces Hamas and oct 7th and pretends they give a hoot about the terrorism and hostages that started this war would be fine. But find me one. I’ll wait. Having someone like Rashida tlaib up there is as inflammatory as having MTG on the RNC stage.

I don't think Palestinian-Americans should be required to jump through hoops to placate Jewish interests just to be allowed to speak at a DNC convention.

Apparently you do. Go ahead and vote for Harris. I'll pass unless they change course. If that means another Trump term, that's the price the Democrats should pay.

I don’t think not supporting a terrorist entity is a “hoop” that one has to jump through. But go ahead and pass on Harris. Electing trump will thrill hard core right wing pro Israel supporters and you’ll reap what you sow.

+1 anyone implying or stating support for Hamas is supporting a terrorist organization by extension and a tyrannical government that hasn't permitted a free election in 18+ years.

You treat anyone who doesn't spend all their time criticizing Hamas and praising Israel as "implying support for Hamas."

We're tired of your BS. Just because Kamala aligns more closely with your limousine liberal values doesn't mean her cowardice won't cost her plenty of votes.

So, yeah, bring back Trump, if that's what is necessary to teach the Democrats a lesson.

Susan Sarandon, is that you? Will that “bring about the revolution”? How did that work out when Trump won?

J/K. We now you're a Republican troll.

In poll after poll, Israeli citizens favor Trump over Harris.

That's great. We're not in Israel.

I don't care, because whatever they are, they are better than Project 2025.

Restore reproductive rights, not try to overthrow our government, push for the John Lewis voting rights act, strengthen union protections, cut taxes for workers, raise them on people making $400k plus, continue Biden’s work on infrastructure, continue to support Ukraine against Russia, Push for the border security bill that Trump killed, and, again, not try to overthrow our government.

Pretty good stuff!

Um, maybe you have have a reading comprehension, but that post was about Josh Shapiro and not Harris. It was about Trump assuming that a person of Jewish faith should be more loyal to Israel than Pennsylvania, the state he represents. Maybe you feel the same way.

Tax the Rich!

Let’s start with a 25% tax on unrealized capital gains. Dumbest idea ever. But then again we’re taking about Comrade Harris and the Democratic Party so not surprised.

The Biden-Harris plan would tax unrealized capital gains *for people with more than $100 million in net assets*

PP, do you have over $100M in assets?

If not, why do you care?

When income taxes began, they only affected a single-digit percentage of Americans. We don’t think they’ll stop there.

Anyone find it interesting that no other former president or vice president on the GOP side spoke at their convention. Not Bush, Quayle, Cheney, or Pence. That's quite telling compared to what the DNC has presented this week.

Not really.

It only highlights that Democrats have been in charge of our country for most of last 20 years.

So, all of the problems lay at their feet.

Trying to overthrow the government and promising to do it again will have the effect of making decent people distancing themselves from the treasonous butthole.
