Is that 2013 boys? That’s a very good team. I would not say they are typical of Valor. Lots of natural athletes in that group who train and play with a lot of intensity. They would probably be good no matter who coaches. Look at age groups with less natural talent and you can see the coaching problems. |
Agreed. Most clubs have outlier teams and it's normally specific age groups that are just bad because the coaching isn't good so the talent doesn't carry the team. |
There is no talent to carry the team. Once parents pick up on the valor scam the talent finds new clubs to play for. |
The boys top 2013 team has a terrible coach. They aren't good b/c of coaching that's for certain |
And then sucker parents accept top and second team offers for their kid from second team all the way down to fifth team players. It's very common at Valor. Spoiler: if your kid is on a bottom team any other club offering you first or second team just wants your money. |
You sound bitter, maybe have your kid try a different sport? |
Why? Just because a club/coach is bad doesn't mean a player that played there is bad. |
you must be confused the top 2013 boys is top 5 in VA undefeated in pre ECNL. coming from a SYC parent who faced them last weekend. don't know their coach though. |
We have won 16 games, lost 1, and tied 4 games since I’ve been the coach. How am I terrible? |
Trey - you are just fine. Good for you for sticking with this club! It hasn't always been easy to do. |
Trolls are a trollin'. Since you have no problem calling out a coach (completely unjustified by the way), why don't you let everyone know who you are??? Must feel pretty safe behind your keyboard. |
Why do you think winning games when coaching little kids is how to best measure whether someone is a "good coach"? Just curious. |
Do all of the Valor Parent (non-professional) Coaches get the benefit of their kid playing for free? Are they paid? Do the players pay a lesser fee for not having a real coach? |
They had a similar record last year with a different coach, correct? |
