Malaysia Airlines Flight Goes Missing En Route to China

Why do you think it crashed so far from the route in Indian ocean?

I'm glad they can confirm it was the plane. I have to admit that I have completely lost the plot of the official story of where the plane went and when. I guess I don't understand why the Malaysians lied from the beginning.

The airline is owned by the relatives of the ruling party. Right now Malaysia is in the middle of a severe recession/ depression. The last thing they want is more publicity from the crashed airline 370. Also, the barnacles on the wing part can be analyzed and tell a great deal about where the part has been. Depth, currents, ect

I don't think it's clear where it crashed yet- the ocean currents could have carried the debris far from the crash site. I think this is what they're trying to figure out. The species and age of the critters growing on the debris may provide important clues as to where it originated.

Either someone intentionally flew it out there or it was a ghost flight. I'm not sure we will ever know the answer.

Has anymore wreckage been found since the wing? And have results of tests on the wing been released yet?

This is back in the news today with CBS reporting "experts" claim the pilot did this on purpose. Zero actual evidence is presented of course, but it's interesting none the less.

Not surprising. I think they are correct

So the current underwater search is still assuming fast dive? And not the controlled "landing"?

I can’t believe it’s been 9 years and the plane still hasn’t been found. I remember being glued to the TV when this happened. It feels like just yesterday. RIP. I feel so bad for the families who lost loved ones and have no closure.

Really sad for all those lost, and their families. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Yes. Is anyone watching the Netflix series on this that went live this week? The theories are absolutely insane! I don't know what to believe.
