Will the expanded showcases in San Diego offer the same exposure as champions league or do the coaches make the trip out to San Diego to watch the top 32 teams for 2008 & 2009?

Sorry to break it to you, but first few fields are where the major colleges are..

Makes sense, no scouts go to the games outside of Champions League while in San Diego so it’s no man’s land. If that’s correct, then the switch to GA makes total sense.

CISC move was all about boys and MLSNext. They basically told their senior girls last night - we know this sucks and we are screwing you, but 70% of our paying customers are boys and so we are going to do what is best for them.

Must've gotten their talking points from NVA

Unless you attended an alternate CISC senior girls meeting, there was no mention of boys or MLS N. Not saying parents can’t see through the motives but that statement is far from what was said.

Did CISC even get MLSN? There’s no talk of the boys. Hearing they are still waiting to get accepted.

Impactful player entering in college recruiting years, which event would benefit daughter the most (ECNL vs GA only version)? Here’s my stab at it. Thoughts?

1. ECNL Champions league Finals
2. GA Finals
3. ECNL Champions league Playoffs
4. GA champion cup finals
5. GA playoffs
6. ECNL showcase/North American cup playoffs
7. ECNL showcases (multiple)
8. GA Winter
9. GA showcases (multiple)

How does GA only pull 20% D1 and ECNL almost 70% D1 with that list?

Is this of total D1 players or total in each respective league?

How would you rank it? You wouldn’t put a ECNL Showcase cup B team over a team in the GA playoff final would you?

BSC/PDA/FC Delco all have the same setup. No indication whatsoever PDA/Delco are going GA unless you have inside info.

They are basically quoting the College Soccer Truth post from a month ago about the 2026 recruiting class. The numbers from verbal commits in Jan/Feb to sighing day in Oct always look a lot different. Not to mention players from Nationals, Ukies, Colorado Rush, South Shore Select, and a few other clubs that had played 2-3 years in GA before moving to ECNL. They would have been recruited while in GA and the club happened to go to ECNL. ECNL will count them even with a year or less time in the league while GA won't even though they facilitated it.

It’s Also funny how CST and ImYouthsoccer were promoting the clubs leaving GA to ECNL but crickets when it’s the other way around.

I’m almost certain they are on ECNL payroll

Only way someone would intentionally go from ECNL to GA would be if they weren’t getting playing time in ECNL
