Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

VLC has blamed its own customers for its problems since the cavs merger - for VLC the reason their teams implode is always a few bad apple parents. By my count VLC has had at least 5 teams implode and this will be the second year in a row that they are missing an entire age group (it was the 27s last year). Here’s my message to VLC stop blaming your customers and improve your performance.

The Cavs never had this level of dysfunction. I don’t remember a single year that the Cavs failed to field a team for each grade. I definitely don’t recall multiple teams imploding at the rate that VLC has experienced. This merger has proven that 1+1 can equal 0.

If you want to duplicate the VLC experience set $3000 on fire and then punch yourself in the nuts. Although to really get the experience I guess you’d also have to punch your son in the nuts.

As a parent from VLC, there are 2 problems. The Crabs organization made it feel like they did not care about the VLC program. Then when VLC and Cavs merged, Crabs basically just threw VLC to Cavs management. Then it went downhill fast when Cavs management had to find coaches to replace for the younger teams due to performance and/or moving away without assistance from Crabs. This was all happening when Cavs management was trying to make peace with VLC and Cavs parents.

Then frustrated parents were arguing with frustrated management and that is where we are today.

Entitled to what? Decent coaching, accepible fields some level of communication? True is going to swallow VLC. This summer is the last summer of VLC - count on it.
