| Whoa this ep was savage. Kicking dogs and watching to see if they’ll keep coming back indeed. Safe to say Shiv is now firmly established as the most Logan-like. |
That conversation was brutal. She couldn’t have a dog because Logan would mistreat it, but she left her children with him? And of course Logan doesn’t want to let Kendall go if he actually wants to go. I would be very critical of the writers continuing to have Kendall be completely unable to predict how his father will react, but I have been in the middle of sone family drama (on a much smaller scale, of course), and learned that some otherwise bright people are completely without emotional intelligence. Like with Kendall, I want to say “Have you ever met your Father? How did you think he was going to react?” Unfortunately, its all too real. |
| Tom has got to leave her, this is insanity. |
Kendall is dead, he won't be making any predictions. |
| Kendall isn’t dead. They are just teasing us. |
+1 |
| Were we ever told what was wrong with Kendall's son? |
|
I missed the first 10 minutes so forgive me if this was answered then. Why were the following people invited tot he wedding??
Logan! who invites an ex-husband? Connor - not her son and it doesn't sound like she had anything to do with raising her own kids much less him Greg - related on Logan's side Gerri- ??? |
Not sure. The symmetry of death (drowning) at a wedding. All the opening and closing scenes of Kendell floating in water is building up to this. I thought it well staged though very sad, especially for his kids, if he is dead. |
New husband is a social climber so wants powerful people at the wedding—this is why the mom asks Kendall not to be at some events and wants Logan there. I assume same about Gerri. Not sure about the others. |
I thought it was weird too. Especially since she never told her own kids she was even engaged. The only thing mentioned was her new husband was excited to have lots of important people at his wedding. It was pretty sloppy script writing to get everyone in one place. Also, has the wedding actually happened now and they never really showed it, or did they leave the wedding for this big important meeting about Gojo which is then taking place in some corporate office in Europe? |
I don't think so. Seems like he is somewhere on the spectrum. Quite an interesting scene - having his grandson taste his food to make sure he wasn't being poisoned. What a way to have to go through life. |
She's on the board, so her corporate peeps are there. |
Meanwhile he uses people as human footstools. |
I really hate when the real plot gets in the way of MY plot. |
