I’m usually D. Roman is always the worst but A. squeaked ahead for me this week.

I don’t think A was the worst because I don’t think Logan really thought his food was poisoned. It was another game. He wanted Kendall to believe that he thinks Kendall is that unbalanced. I think B was the worst because she not only said she should have had dogs, she said she didn’t have dogs because Logan would have mistreated them. And yet she left her children with him in exchange for money. At least Shiv and Tom are both adults and can make their own decisions. Leaving children with a sadist is the ultimate evil.

Logan lives to show other people how much he can hurt them. Logan had hit Kendall's son and said derisive things about him in the past and Kendall had to take it. How absolutely degrading. Kendall loves his kids and Logan is so vile, he knows children are every parent's weakness. In the Logan Roy world it is all about attacking and control. He showed Kendall he would hurt Kendall's kids if he wanted to.

Am I the only person who feels sorry for Kendall? He has lots of problems. His ex wife condescends to him. His son has a problem.
His Dad thinks he’s dumb ( he’s not as smart as Dad but duo is?) He killed a waiter in a stupid accident and now he is suicidally depressed. The family certainly doesn’t support him and his behavior is just bizarre. He’s as crazy as Conner.

He is. And he has created his kids. But as they are, I sort of see how he doesn’t respect them. He built this company and they just want to ride on his success. He sees them as users, which they are. But he has also mentally f’ed them up so badly. All seem like they could have done something with themselves if they had better parents.

Random thoughts:

I don't see what everyone else is saying about Shiv's wardrobe. I thought she looked perfectly professional throughout the season (loved her green dress and gold necklace at Kendall's 40th). Yes, she has gained some weight and would look a lot better in A-line sundresses instead of the tight, figure-forming, low-cut ones she wore in Italy. Willa's wardrobe in Italy was perfection - loose, flowy sundresses. Gorgeous.

Kendall breaks my heart. He is obnoxious and arrogant, but so, so broken and sad. It was cringeworthy when he was sobbing in Italy and Shiv and Roman just kept cracking jokes and acting stupid. Kendall really has no one - except Naomi (why wasn't she at the wedding, btw?), but all she does is simper at him with her dumb smirk and support absurd things like his horrible birthday party.

Roman absolutely drives me nuts. I know a lot of posters consider him their favorite character, but I'm done with the ridiculous dialog, f-this f-that, stupid sexual "quips." It's just not funny anymore.

Greg used to be my favorite, but his bumbling personality has gotten old. Tom is my new fave - he is simultaneously evil and hilarious. Hope he gets an Emmy for that role.
