And, do all the G.F. People really have celiac

No, I have non celiac gluten intolerance.

TMI ahead. When I ate gluten, I had poop shooting out of my arse like a fire hose. There were about two days a week when I couldn’t leave the house. You are absolutely an ass for questioning this.

+ 1 - I don't have celiac but have to eat G.F. due to Hashimotos so thanks for that general assumption that we are G.F. by choice.

Combining them in a dish is bad for you, like a fish or lobster sandwich with cheese. Drinking a milkshake, right after eating seafood as examples. Eating them individually and spaced apart isn’t bad for you.

Can you provide an actual scientific citation for this?

I assumed this was a clever troll.

New pp. I grew up in Middle East and heard this growing up. Can’t think of middle eastern dish that combines fish or seafood with dairy (yoghurt or cream). Can’t provide you and actual citation and never tried to disprove or prove the allegation, but I also just never eat seafood with dairy. It’s just not a taste combination I grew up with.

When I worked in Iran 50 years ago, I ate caviar and yoghurt on naan almost every day for lunch. But I don’t think that is a typical Middle Easrern dish.

YES! Anything mint + chocolate ruins the food

Uhm how about Mediterranean lamb with mint yogurt sauce? It’s delicious!

Who would really eat a little lamb. It’s basically a puppy.

I have had both. Lamb is more flavorful. Puppy is sinewy

Mine are Stella is awful beer. If you like it, that's fine, but it taste just like any mass market swill. Also, i hate American style Chinese food.

agree on stella and steak. Disagree on Chinese food. Once you accept that American Chinese food is it's own distinct thing, you can enjoy it on those terms

Who has ever pretended that Stella was anything other than an average mass-market beer, though? Pretty sure everyone knows that, so this is hardly a controversial opinion (and no, I don't drink Stella - it falls in what I call the "crappy beer" category").

I've seen plenty of people who love Stella and scoff at Coors, Miller, Bud...etc. Same with skunky Heineken. People think because it's made in Europe it's good.

Or maybe they just like the taste of it. Some people like that type of beer (my FIL likes Miller Lite & Stella, while I think they are both disgusting). It doesn't mean they think it's fancy.

yes!

If you need to put *anything* on your hash browns - mustard or ketchup - you've made them wrong. Good lord.

Can I at least have salt? Sea salt preferred, just a little.

Mayonnaise is disgusting in any way, shape, or form.

I need to keep Autumn Squash soup, with baguette. At least once per season. If it's McDs level to you, I'm fine with that.

I find it essential to a good grilled sandwich. It's not really mayo then, but you said any form.

Marshmallows are gross. I wish I could love s’mores, but...marshmallows.

Cheeseburgers at most places are far too big. It's annoying trying to eat something I can't even fit in my mouth.

Yes, of course. Happy to clarify.
