Talk to your coach about what he/she thinks about it and go from there.

The problem with the parent who is complaining is that the process really starts with your club coach and club TD. And this matters even if you are playing in DA. FCV coaches had the ears of US Soccer long before DD arrived.

All you are doing is letting DD know that you have a kid that might be worth a look. They send someone to look, if they like what they see they might send an invite.

If the kid is not as billed you will be flagged for wasting their time and any future recommendations will be met with skepticism.

My understanding is that there club TDs send the club nominees. Speak with your TD about it.

VDA is definitely not the only club in the area with parents who think their daughters are top players. That’s most nova clubs. FCV is the only club in the area us soccer scout driving carpool when she’s not online arguing with parents.
