Not a coaching issue. Dico is as good as it gets. |
Agreed, but he does not coach the 2021s. I have no other experience with other clubs, but for what it’s worth, VLC plays everyone. Every player gets reps and no one sits out unless the are injured. There is a constant rotation - even among the poles and the attack. So the strongest players are not always on the field. Do other clubs do it this way, or do some of their stars never come out? |

| Are they trying to be popular or serve their players/parents? Is it all about PR and marketing? Why would it take posts on dcurbanmom to schedule practices (what were people getting for the club fees anyways?). |
| The clubs in this area are somewhat unique. They are true clubs that usually roster kids from the area. Many teams competing at the elite tournaments are all-star teams that draw from a vast area, meet up a week before summer tourneys, players literally meeting each other for the first time. Despite this they dominate at the tourneys because they have a huge amount of individual talent. If what you want is solely college recruitment this is the model that seems to work. If you want player development, team chemistry, camaraderie and bonding with your teammate and coaches, true club teams are the best option. |

Kids in the DMV are flocking to the super teams:

Might want to add Madlax 24' |
2019-2021 are done completely or not taking new players so not much flicking going on... |
With 32 players on this summer’s roster, you could say lots of flocking going on, while some players do get shuffled to play in DMV games (recent 3 losses w 1 tie) while still remaining on Cap roster. |
| I just don’t understand why you would keep your kid on a team when they don’t get to play. Game time experience is so important for getting better. |
| Ok, so 19-21 already flocked. Will continue to happen |
LOL at the hilariously stupid idea that VLC staff reads, or cares about, or acts upon, the opinions of random idiots on DCUM. |
