It's just you.

NP here. I think it's a little weird too. Wouldn't have noticed it if OP had not pointed it out but, yes, now that she mentions it. . .

The whole civil rights theme of the wedding seemed really fake to me.

You’re wrong (and a hater), but opinions are like a-holes...

Cute. Also agree with a PP that the shoulders of the dress are kind of hilarious given shouldergate.

I think this dress is better in theory than in execution.

Is there ANY fabric that could be used that wouldn't make those creases at the lower waist from sitting? It bugged me with Pippa's bridesmaid dress, Meghan's wedding dress and now this dress. Also bugged me with Anne Hathaway's pink Oscar dress. I made a mental note for my DD's (if they choose to marry) to choose the fabric wisely. I'm certain this dress is lovely in person -- love Givenchy! I'm not sure I like her hair style with this dress, though. Cannot see her shoulders and the line of cut.

I must say that queen really knows how to pick her colors. She really rocks vivid colors like lime as well as that lavender she had on for the wedding.

Silk will crease like that.

If she went with a cheap polyester nylon spandex blend it probably would not do that, but knit generally does not mesh with formal or dress wear

The Queen reportedly likes to wear bright colors so that people can see her at events.

Maybe the Queen will show not-so-wonderful MILs everywhere how it is done - be gracious and "show (your new DIL) the ropes" instead of being petty, critical or judgy. They look like they are enjoying themselves.

She really does look wonderful in her glorious colors. Every time.

You mean, actually being family members who could literally look like the trolls from Frozen, never do any "royal appearances" at all, marry and divorce whomever they please, and still get to be royals? I mean, those girls can gain weight when they're pregnant if they want.

Royal function is also boring, but they signed up for it and get paid. So stiff upper lips.

Both couples look like they care for each other, and are in good marriage. Even Charles and Camilla look content together. Poor Diana.

Why? Did you marry one of those guys up there?

+1 By wearing such bright colors and being surrounded by people in more muted colors, people in the crowd can be sure that the flash of color their seeing is her and can say "I saw The Queen!"

Why the hate? They did not work out, big deal.

I don't know about Harry but the heart wants what it wants. Charles chose Camilla over Diana...

And Harry chose Meghan. Chelsy really does look... worn. And a bit trashy.

She is rich, she does not care what you think, probably not even what the "princes" think. Like anybody gives an f what Charles, the future king, think?

No wonder Prince Charles wants to streamline the royal family.

The tax payers would like that too.
