This is all very sad.

I don’t think that’s necessarily the case, I read an article by a psychologist about how unusual this was, with her killing the other woman and herself and leaving her husband alive. It doesn’t fit the usual profile at all and is very rare. I’ll see if I can find it again and post the link.

Maybe this was a true love triangle and the two women were also getting it on? Maybe the older one killed the younger one when she tried to end it?

In one of the articles I read about it, the police said they didn't think the murderer intended to kill herself when she went in to murder the other woman that day. She had a wig and other disguises with her. If that's the case, then something changed after she went in. Perhaps she got scared of getting caught and then killed herself - probably better than spending the rest of your life in prison!

She most likely underestimated the impact of shooting someone in the head.

She would have been a hero in prison.

No, she would not be a hero. Her prison cellmates would wonder why she gave up a life of privilege to spend the rest of it in jail. They would wonder why she surrendered her assets to her husband who can now spend them on a new wife. They would wonder why she thought this was a smart idea anyone since her husband would be granted an automatic divorce since she is sitting behind bars.

They would let her sit there and think that she was smart and send their young nieces after a new available catch. Why do you think people in jail are not street smart?

What a bizarre story.

Words fail me. Wait, one thing: you really can't believe ANYTHING you see or read on social media.

Two things:

1) It seems so many couples who post glowing social media posts are a mess;

2) can you really love your family fiercely while cheating on your husband? Friends in complete denial

Yes, you can be a good friend/daughter/sister, and make a horrible wife.

You know that he was married to her for 25 years, right?
And if it was so obvious that she was "fu(king nuts", why he didn't call 911 to protect the OW?

Because the dynamics are so much different.

Probably because not every thing is black or white. In relationships most sh!t is grey..... well until someone decides to bring a 40 caliber in the mix. Then it’s all red.

He starts getting threatening texts but doesn’t believe them. When mistress doesn’t show up to dinner, he thinks it’s serious and goes there hoping to prevent trouble. Comes into the house, sees dead AP and distressed wife. Kills wife on the spur of the moment, pretends it was suicide. Acts like he just arrived.

She was probably really normal until he moved her away from friends and continued to live with her while cheating and planning a divorce.

Who does that?

Move out if you are sooooooo unhappily married and she is such a psycho. But she wasn't psycho and he wasn't unhappy, he hedged his bets, keeping her in the wings while he worked on the new chick. I doubt this as his 1st affair, he looks and seems creepy.
