My Husband Supports Trump

Anonymous
So far Trump has beaten the media liars, and the reps and dems at their own b.s. games. He's made the process a game changer, no one's done that to date. I would give him a chance based on what his beliefs are and that alone.

Much better then the other lifer b.s. politicians who will be more of the same.

No, I quite prefer keeping my money and spending it how I see fit. Sweden's model doesn't work for me at all.

Works for many others, however. It's not all about you.

Dig a little deeper. Sweden isn't doing so hot, either. Demographic time bomb. Why do you think they're so eager to bring in refugees? Joke's on them, though. It will just accelerate the decline.

Not to mention, the Scandinavian model would never work on this scale.

Says every scared corporate pussy.

Without government-passed property laws, government run courts, and government employed cops to enforce the laws and court orders, the money isn't "yours." But keep telling everyone how awful government is.

Be good and we won't put your head on a pike outside your burned-down douchey club.

LOL You have bigger problem then instead of politics. Yes that horrible TRUMP! Against illegal immigration, poor economics deals, terrorists, anchor babies, China where all our crap comes from. FYI Trump use to be a democrat.

He might as well still be one. The man is not a conservative. He couldn't give two shits about the Constitution, and has supported just about every plank in the Democrat Party platform until he figured out he could advance his own personal agenda better by pretending to be a Republican.

Those of you who are horrified by Trump because you think he is "too far right," have no clue what conservatism is all about. Trump is a narcissist, pure and simple. Trump is about Trump. If he can't get what he wants by pretending to be a Republican, he will run as a third party candidate if he thinks it will get him what he wants.

You are exactly right. This is why it is so scary that so many are following him. I'm a Republican and cannot stand him. I will either not vote if he's the Republican candidate or vote for a Democrat for the first time ever. Trump is so arrogant, so narcissistic, so unqualified to be president, and such a huge liar that will say anything to get elected. I cannot figure why people don't see right through him. It's beyond baffling. The only thing I can think is people are swayed by the celebrity appeal and that he sounds a bit different than the status quo politician. But that doesn't make him qualified. Ugh, I could go on but my blood pressure rises...

He called W. out for lying about weapons of mass destruction. I hope he isn't president, but I would pin a medal on him for that.

+1. One has to admit he has balls. Attacking Bush that way, right before South Carolina veterans vote.

Trump might be the first Republican I vote for. Can't stand Hilary, seriously I can't read another article about her emails. Besides, I don't support political dynastys. For me, I'll vote for Sanders or Trump depending on the options.

Here is what you're not getting. Many like and are voting for him because he probably is less about party. Yes his goals are to try and make this country what it should be. MOST politicians are narcissists btw, geese look at Hillary and Bill. People don't care about those things if he can achieve his goals.

He's actually the only good candidate on both sides. If he's elected we'll see if he can pull it off.

Oh, I get why people like him. The system is broken and people are sick of the two parties. I'm not about party, either, but I am about basic principles of liberty and limited government as originally intended under the Constitutional republican model. Unfortunately, most of those who support Trump don't get that he's a lying sack of crap. His schtick is that he's an outsider who won't do business as usual as it is done today in DC. Winning! Huge! Fantastic! Unfortunately, his greatest talent (besides selling himself) is supposedly his ability to make deals. Well, now, how do you think we got to be in the mess we're in now? The thing is, Trump, who has no foundation in basic Constitutional principles will happily trade away whatever it takes to make a deal. I believe he would govern with even less regard for the law than Obama. And that's saying something.

+1000 Please tell me there is a chance that Kasich could win!

How immature is it to get upset at ones spouse just because you differ on which political candidate you would vote for. That's probably about as important relationship wise as differing over your favorite flavor ice cream. Perhaps OP the bigger problem in your marriage is a total inability to accept that your spouse is allowed to have his own viewpoint on things and just because you disagree doesn't mean you're more right than he is.

All of the political candidates running are narcissistic by definition who will say and do what they need to to try to get elected. Taking what they say so seriously BEFORE they are elected is a mistake. All of the candidates have various flaws, not just trump.

I believe there must be other more important issues in your marriage that are bothering you and this is misdirection. I suspect the biggest problem might be your intolerance of different viewpoints from your husband, and if you are like many on the left, anyone you disagree with.

Government is a necessary evil (one that the US Constitution was designed to severely limit), but socialist government is just plain evil. Socialist governments killed more of their own people in the 20th Century than the combined battlefield deaths of every war in that bloody century. Nothing in history has been deadlier than the socialist governments of the 20th Century. It's a truism that anyone who supports socialism is either evil or a useful idiot. The latter vastly outnumber the former. Which one are you?

It's not about everyone else either.

I never said that. I said high taxes are awful. What's wrong with me keeping money that I earned?

That's a very simplistic description of socialism and you know it. Unless, of course, you're an idiot and you don't ...

Bernie's views are in the mainstream of the Western world. It's yours that aren't.
