Unlike almost all other jobs, you get to choose your own schedule. You show up when you want to work, but it still has to be before the start of the shift (6-2 is the night shift). Many, but not all, strip clubs operate this way. If you come late or leave early, you pay a penalty on top of the house fee. I work two nights a week, and will work a third if I'm not too tired. So, 16-24 hours a week. However, I get there 1-1.5 hours beforehand to get ready

How does management keep all the girls from coming on the good shifts (Fr-Sat nights) and no one showing up on the bad shifts (daytime/Sun/Mon/tue, I would guess)

I mean, couldn't there be a situation where 30 girls come in on Saturday and no one comes in Monday lunch time?

It's never a bad thing to have more girls on. Some women prefer the day shifts (more normal hours) so that hasn't been an issue either. I never gave this much thought. Good question!

Fwiw there's really no reliably "bad" shift. Even including daytime. Sex sells...all the time.

pp here. I also meant to say that I believe sex workers should be legalized and cared for. As per one of the links you posted, one example was given of New Zealand. I was just attempting to say that the focus of women on each other's sexuality is not useful to feminism.

A while back, I asked the original poster if she had even considered being a webcam girl and didn't get an answer.

I thought it was a reason able question. They can work from a studio or home, so it would be safer. They can make a ton of money, depending upon what they are willing to do and how many hours they are willing to work.

They can set their own hours.

Webcam girls come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. Many much older than the OP are doing quite well.

Countries, and areas within a country can be blocked, to keep people that you don't want to know what you are doing from finding out online. Seems like it would be easier to protect your identity than if stripping in a club.

Also, there are webcam girls that dance and make good money while probably showing less skin than OP does.
