I think there's a basic way of approaching life, and this is not a high bar to achieve at all. It goes like this. Try to live your life in a way that doesn't contribute to the suffering of others, mental, physical, emotional, etc. That's it. Pretty easy. So those of you making derogatory and flip comments like equating transgender people with wanting to be cats and puppies, think it all you want. But when you choose to post it here, for others who may be reading this thread with interest because they're going through the same thing, just know that you aren't achieving the low, low, incredibly low bar of living your life without contributing to the suffering and mental anguish of others. All so you can have your laugh. Sit with that for a while and see how it feels.

So now that he has shared his reality with the world, there are reports he will continue to participates in docu-series as he moves forward. Reports are some of his kids are advising him to continue on his transition in private.

Now that's it's in the open, there is no lingering question about what is going on with Bruce Jenner. I wish he would retreat privately and not let this spectacle continue. I just wonder how other ordinary (not-famous) transgender people feel about all of this and if it is positive for the LBGT community.

Without the Kardashians Jenner would not be recognizable name to anyone under the age of 45. So yeah, there's that part. The only reason my kids know who he is is due to his link the Ks. Hey, I have always really liked him so no disrespect to him. I am just stating facts. So his connection to them is helping his message to get out.

I think that a couple of his kids are asking him to maintain a lower profile and keep the details private. And I think the question was how - with so much already out there- could Bruce go about keeping something so widely known private. The pp suggested he could find privacy (if he wants it, he may not) by going overseas. No one is saying that he should go overseas that I'm aware of.
