How diverse is stokes SES wise? Is it filling up with high SES families?

The stats are available on the internet. I was impressed that the achievement level was relatively high across income levels. Not something that I see very often .

That's true! Very high achieving school.

We matched at a school we like but would go to Stokes without hesitation if we got in. We were 300+ in the lottery.

Just a correction: The ED resigned over politics. And the Prinipal was his spouse and resigned as well. They were both wonderful people, FWIW.

SSMA has lots of admin headaches, but from what I hear they aren't alone.

According to the stokes website, Stokes is not a high SES school, it has a majority FARM population which is

1) 83.5% of total students are on free and reduced meals.
2) 91% of the students are African american and Hispanic.
3) 9% of the students are white.

Can you clarify what politics made him resign? He led the open house I went to a few weeks before it happened, and I really liked him. Thanks.
