STELLA AND DOT IS A BIG RIP OFF. WAY OVER PRICED!!!! YOU CAN BUY THE SAME QUALITY AT SUPERSTORE.
SAME AS LIA SOPHIA, IF YOU CAN GET A NECKLACE HALF OF HALF PRICE THEN WHY THE HECK IS IT $150.00 IN THE FIRST PLACE.
YOU CAN LOOK ONLINE TO CHINA AND FIND THE SAME FOR $5.00
MIGLIO A SOUTH AFRICAN JEWELERY, VERY NICE BUT SUPER EXPENSIVE, COST ME $500.00 TO JOIN AND GET A START UP KIT. THEN THEY TELL ME
YOU ONLY GET 30% OF THE SALES AND THEY KEEP THAT MONEY, YOU HAVE TO REQUEST TO HAVE IT SENT TO YOU....????
ALL THESE HOME PARTIES ARE SUCH A RIP OFF, OH I JUST GOT INVITED TO A LEGGING PARTY! ARE YOU KIDDING ME.

I've been a stylist with stella for 5 years
Our pieces are designed in New York made all over the world by same bearers and craftsman as Lanvin, prada and many others for fraction of the price! I hated at home shows snuck out of most till found stella the products aren't cheap we don't sell it as cheap it's high quality fashion jewelry! I've purchased designer pieces from Neiman and Nordstroms from tai and chan Lu triple or more in price don't hold a candle my tai bracelet tarnished broke in three days and they wouldn't take back! Our cust service is better then nordstrom we call it delight because if you're not delighted or if ring etc brakes fades cracks etc we will return it on us you can call your stylist or cust service via phone or chat! All need is email to start process we pay ship back and give you full refund or store credit! I promise in my 5 years only have 2 percent return ratio there's a reason for that we use great resources and they do hold up! So sorry your experience wasn't good but really would love for you to try again!
Any questions happy to answer!!!

Returning is a pain so no one gets around to it.

Below mediocre. You are better served at Claire's.

When I opened it, I was like, "oh, ok"..."I guess she convinced him to buy a piece of that junk". Now my other gifts were really nice, so I overlooked it. But then we have an "argument" about gifts and I find out by looking in my stocking there is another creepy S&D box!!

I'm livid and plan to speak to my friend about selling this junk to my husband. Yes, he's an adult and should know better, especially as he previously observed the stuff is hideous. However, she pestered a family member at my daughter's christening about S&D and now this! Totally overstepping the line! I don't know if she's pressuring him or what but I'm upset about it. I have a lot of nice jewelry from my husband and I don't appreciate the downhill trend w/the costume crap! I'd rather fewer gifts not lesser quality.

You sound like a spoiled little kid.

Horrible!! I ordered a necklace and it was cheap looking much smaller than in catalog. I returned it and never got a refund!! I asked the stylist for help and she was rude. Never again!!!

This was honestly the biggest waste of money. Stella and dot should be ashamed of themselves for charging the absurdly high prices they do for absolute crap. I went to a part about 3 weeks ago, spent over $150 on a bracelet and pair of stud earrings and a clutch purse. When taxes and shipping were added in (they don't tell you the price of those) it ended up coming to around $180. I received the stuff about a week ago. The stud snapped off the back of the earring when I was putting it on, the clasp has already broken off the bracelet, and the gold and cream color is actually CHIPPING off of the clutch. I am so mad. If you go to one of these parties "accidentally" forget your wallet because it was a horrible experience. I have spoken to other women who were at the party and they have said the same thing. Within weeks everything is broken.

You could buy the same quality crap at Claire's for a fraction of the price

Horrendous experience... My friend picked up a bracelet off of the display table and the turquoise gemstone literally popped out upon her picking it up. The price on the bracelet.. $48. I had to buy something because it was my friends party and the necklace broke the first time I wore it.

The jewelry is very poor quality. It feels very cheap A few heavy pieces were displayed at the stylists party letting me believe that it was made well. I ordered two pieces from the catalog and I could not believe how much smaller they looked when they came. They felt very light like "aluminum foil". They were made cheap!!!!! I got ripped off. I also purchased a stone bracelet and took that home with me from the party I attended. The second time I wore it a stone fell out. I was shocked when I looked down and a stone was missing. I sent everything back. My stylists didn't seem to like that I returned the items on my own. It was my choice. Six weeks have gone by and Stella and Dot still has not refunded my bank account. I contacted them and they did not have any record of my returns. I also paid for the postage. They said it will take another 2-4 weeks before they can refund me since I sent it back on my own and did not go through the stylists. The stylists will not refund me for the $40 bracelet which was really $80 and on sale that day. She only sent me a gift card for MORE Stella and Dot. Imagine that. I do not plan on ever buying any more. The stylists also keeps on sending me emails asking me when I want to have a party so I can get free jewelry! What an unbelievable experience. Don't do it! Don't go to a Stella and Dot party and become a victim!

I have 4 necklaces from them. I really like most of them, but two broke within 10 wears. Incredible. One I barely pulled on and the other broke in a jewelry box, no clue how. It's hard to return because most of us know our stylists and you don't want to offend friends and family. I won't bother returning the 2nd one because I know it'll be even more awkward when I go back the 3rd or 4th time.

are
you a Stella and Dot stylist worried about bad press????

Short answer: it's garbage.

Long answer: any product sold using the pyramid scheme and party/hostess method is, by definition, much too expensive for the quality.
Plus, the individual hosts don't make a lot of money.
Finally, and most importantly, it's social suicide - you should never pressure your own social circle to pay you money for products.
