| Stella and Dot sucks. So does Lia Sophia. But you can get them both on eBay cheap. Then it is a good value. |
I think Lia Sophia went out of business. I recall a story last month about Stella and Dot stylists going ballistic on social media trying to sweep up their clients. |
| I have supported many friends by buying S&D jewelry for about the past 4 years. I simply can not do it anymore. EVERY piece I have bought either hurts my ears, stretches out, finish changes color or rubs off. They have a horrible return policy AND this jewlerry is pricey. I spent $59 on a bracelet that I have probably worn 5x and it is totally stretched out. The metal "string" stretched out an extra four inches or so and also stiffened up so it doesn't have elasticity. I will need to get it restrung if I ever want to wear it again. I just don't want to spend the money. I'd rather go to Target. They seem to knock off S&D styles in a rather timely manner. LOL Oh, with all this said, I did by a tech wallet from them about 2 years again and LOVE it. That has held up great. |
| S&D is crap jewelry. I've been to two parties as favors to friends, ended up buying a few things, but it's pretty junky. |
| Really disappointed, poor quality. Very limited return policy, I guess for a reason. Shame on them. Never again. At least Silpada stands behind their products. |

Tacky tacky tacky. One of my friends is now a single parent and I'm stunned she bought into this thinking she could make money. I worry about her and the financial choices she is making now that she is on her own.
It's an insult to costume jewelry to call S&D costume jewelry. A few posters made comments about how careful one has to be with costume jewelry. I have earrings and a few bracelets that I bought in the 80s that I still wear occasionally. (anyone remember 1928 jewelry?) The earrings look great. The gold has not come off and I'm not missing any stones. I turn down every one of these sales events. Good friends get over it. |

There are others, Choloe and Isabel jewelry is very similar to S&D.

I recently purchased a Stella & Dot Charm bracelet with charms, within the first month, 3 of my 5 charms are missing! What? really? so disappointed, it was not cheap

Overpriced. I hope I am never invited again by any close friends to one of these rip off jewellery parties. George jewellery by George at Walmart appeals to me, so beautiful, so affordable. I felt compelled to buy a piece of jewellery, from Stella and Dot, that will remain in a drawer until, I can figure out who to give it to. I must tell that person, it cost a lot more than they could imagine. The worst observation about Stella & Dot, is your packaging. I have never seen anything so cheap looking. Kudos to That "Underccover Boss" aka, Friday January 30th" She has done a great job convincing people, her product is worthy. NOT! So Sorry!! She sure has a great thing going on!

| I was invited to a S&D party right before the Undercover Boss episode. I had purchased a bracelet the Friday, January 23 before the show aired. I got my bracelet on Monday afternoon. It was a very nice silver chain with a cross. TWO days, yes, TWO DAYS, later it broke while I was wearing it! My stylist was very prompt and ordered me a new one and I got the return label. On February 2, my second bracelet arrived. Guess what, it broke yesterday while I was baking in my kitchen! This one must have been of "better" quality because it lasted two weeks, not two days. LOL! Well, I emailed my stylist again and this time I told her I just want my money back. Don't send me another piece of crap, thank you very much! I will never buy another piece of Stella & Dot jewelry again. |
| I absolutely love Stella & Dot jewelry and even the scarves are beautiful!... It's hilarious to see my earrings on celebs like Kelly Ripa and Kathie Lee plus I noticed a necklace on two of the Bachelor girls on NBC. It always looks great on TV!... They must have a stylist at the networks or something. I do notice that if I don't take care of one of my bracelets it starts to look dull, but it shines up with a jewelry cloth... The quality has been as good as major department store fashion jewelry... I have spent WAY more at Nordstrom. |
I agree with this. I see celebs wearing the same jewelry as me all the time. |
And does it make you feel special? or do you think that celebrities have good taste by default? |
| The difference is that the celebrities are paid to wear it. Don't be fooled into thinking Hods or Kathie Lee ever attended a SD party! |
| I've really loved their jewelry until my last experience. There's a piece called Havana necklace that has a serious design flaw. The first one I got was broken so I just exchanged it after the hassle of obtaining a return label. The next one was perfect Until I wore it. It's made so you can remove 2 pieces and change the look. Well they just randomly fall off if you happen to move the wrong way. I called again. Getting a human is not easy. I was told no problems reported. Mine must be a fluke. Got a third one. Same crap. It's on its way back and after finding out from two stylists that they've had at least a dozen people with same problem I'm done. |
