What good is it to win an election when the whole country loses?
And we have lost so much.

We've lost our allies
We've lost our standing within the world
We've lost our sense of unity
We've lost our trust in Federal data
We've lost our moral compass
We've lost our thriving economy and our new college graduates are entering a very difficult job market
We've lost our federal workers
I can go on and on

We've lost our checks and balances
We've lost the integrity of our supreme
We've lost the integrity of our Congress
We've lost many of our constitutionalrights. To include freedom of press, freedom of speech, freedom to Assem.

We lost our jobs due to H1B
Our children’s lost their jobs due to OPT

When will someone care ?

You didn't lose your job b/c of H1B Visas. Give me a break. Have your kids lost their jobs? Maybe they aren't very good. My kids are fine.

It never used to be this way. The boomers screwed it up for everyone. History won’t look kindly on any of the presidents we have had for the past 40 years or so.

Wrong B word. You’re thinking of billionaires.

No, it’s boomers. Billionaires do not sign bills or pass legislation.

Billionaires buy Congress and has them sign bills and pass legislation.

87% of billionaires vote Democratic.

So easy to say. Where's your proof?

There's no proof. Just made-up nonsense. It's not Democrats who are the ones pushing for tax cuts and other breaks and giveaways for billionaires, that's the Republicans. That evidence speaks for itself.

I like tax cuts.

I also like paying less tax. The only people advocating for more taxes are those who think they personally will not pay more, but will benefit from the money taken from others, filtered through the government. In other words, the unproductive class. which wants handouts instead of being obliged to make their own money.

I make about $1M a year. I did not need a tax cut. You will likely benefit from me, not the other way around. I guess I'm the unproductive class looking for a handout!

If nothing else, you seem happy to tell others how much tax they should pay. How very Big Brother of you.

Just like the GOP inserting itself into private spaces throughout the land.

You made a bold claim about the people who advocate for more taxes. That was you generalizing about something you know nothing about and talking about people wanting handouts. Now you have an attitude that you are dead a$$ wrong? I don't talk about people who want "handouts" instead of making money. Most people work hard.

I don't see that anywhere. I'm a new poster, but I think that the intent was to say even the rich should pay their fair share. It's pretty unfathomable that billionaires pay less as a percentage of their total income in taxes then the very much less wealthy. If a billionaire paid more tax, it would not change their lifestyle one Iota, where raising or decreasing the tax of a poor person does. So why shouldn't the billionaires pay their fair share? That's a republican initiative and it started with Reagan.

Even people who are not the top performers need gainful employment.
