The United States is so unhappy now, it’s not the same anymore

What good is it to win an election when the whole country loses?
And we have lost so much.

We've lost our allies
We've lost our standing within the world
We've lost our sense of unity
We've lost our trust in Federal data
We've lost our moral compass
We've lost our thriving economy and our new college graduates are entering a very difficult job market
We've lost our federal workers
I can go on and on

We've lost our checks and balances
We've lost the integrity of our supreme
We've lost the integrity of our Congress
We've lost many of our constitutionalrights. To include freedom of press, freedom of speech, freedom to Assem.

Sounds like you're going to have a long 4 years.

I almost feel bad for liberals. Almost.

Again, we've lost our sense of unity. The fact that rather than being introspective and wonder why we might be feeling the way we're feeling, you're just gleeful, reinforces what was written.

I'm tired of hearing about liberals. MAGA have nothing but hatred and cruelty in their hearts but please MAGA do keep being the "good christians" Get your little god to release the Epstein files that he's terrified of.

Can you explain how we haven’t lost our allies?
How we haven’t lost our trust in federal data?
How the job market for new grads isn’t abysmal?

I was just on the phone with Medicare today for over 2 hours about penalties and my mother’s absence of Part D coverage and my father’s penalty for Part B because he didn’t sign up “in time”. It all seems like one big racket of penalties and mandates designed to keep vulnerable people dehumanized, stressed, and exploited. Elderly people should not be paying taxes on Social Security that they already paid in taxes before nor should they worry about prescription drug prices.

Yes, this country is depressed. The amount of stress and red tape here to get clear answers and helpis so dehumanizing

Like everyone’s worried about money. As soon as your kid is born, you have to worry about childcare. As soon as they are grown, you have to worry about elder care and their college fund. As soon as they’re 30, they worry about dating, marriage, college debt, childcare, retirement.

It never used to be this way. The boomers screwed it up for everyone. History won’t look kindly on any of the presidents we have had for the past 40 years or so.

Wrong B word. You’re thinking of billionaires.

The decline of America happened under Ronald Reagan. That’s when the unions were destroyed, the ultra rich and corporations stopped paying taxes, mental asylums were opened, and the price of college skyrocketed. Oh, illegal immigration increased significantly under his term as well leading to lower wages /wage stagnation. Not to mention the national debt and deficits more than tripled under his administration.

Donald Trump was even criticizing Reagan every strongly back then which is why it’s weird he worships him now

No, it’s boomers. Billionaires do not sign bills or pass legislation.

Well, the most recent round of wrecking ball is the morons that blew the pandemic response and devalued the world’s currencies so much by shutting things down to the point so much money had to be printed.

Your side tried to take our president as a political prisoner. Maybe you should be doing some introspection.

It was the Democrats who threw their coalition out the window just to spite labor though.

Again, talking about sides. We are all Americans. However, something happened on January 6, 2021. Can't quite put my finger on it.

BS narrative. They went after Trump for actual crimes. 34 felony convictions, had full due process and was found guilty by a jury of his peers. Found guilty of fraud, found guilty of sexual assault, and then there are the dozens of people in his orbit also found guilty of various crimes, like Manafort, Gates and so on.

Democrats didn't do that to other political opponents like Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan or John Boeher or anyone else, did they. It's not because he's a political opponent. It's because he's a political opponent AND an actual criminal. Y'all need to stop pretending like the man isn't in fact crooked.
