They will
Likely hold a mock hearing and then take away privileges etc.
he will be loathed and punished by inmates and guards.
I know because I worked in a prison.

Agreed. He will not be feared or respected. Take a jail/prison tour sometime.

But personally, I believe this person is a sociopath who feels no empathy or sympathy or any emotional connection to anyone. So any displays of emotion by his victims or victims' families just plays out to him as an interesting scientific experiment.

I believe this man murdered because he was fascinated by crime and he wanted to experience what it felt like, given that he's spent a life not feeling anything like normal people.

He's going to write a book in jail and it's going to sell.

Finally, if I had been a parent of a victim, I would not have given him any emotion, negative or positive. It would only be contributing to his real-life experiment.

Why these particular people, though? Thoughts?

Have you not heard of the Son of Sam law?
Criminals cannot profit by selling or marketing the stories of their crimes.

Found to be unconstitutional. Try to keep up.

Do you have any examples of recent murderers who have profited though?
Despite a change in law, is there any publisher worth their salt who is going to print this crap?
Probably not. And if he self publishes, there is no marketing budget to promote it

You need to provide some clear goalposts, i.e., recent.

That post says "recent". You're just repeating it, like its not there. Have you taken your meds today, grandpa?

I want to know what recent means before I provide an example.

ok let's expand the search for you, how about any time in the 20th or 21st century. I'd love to know of a murderer who profited after conviction, from writing about his crimes.

I don't think even Hitler profited from Mien Kampf.

Henry Kissinger has authored several books.

DP here. I believe the incel theory. There is no evidence to suggest Kohberger had any non-family female relationships. There is evidence he followed Maddie and Kaylee on Instagram. And also evidence that at least once he visited the bar in town frequented by UI students.

As predicted, he's being bullied. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

After he was convicted of murder?

No, after he committed war crimes and escaped prosecution, as most war criminals do.

Exactly my point. PP was saying that other murderers profited from writing books about their crimes. No they do not, and Kissinger was not an example of a murderer who wrote books.

This has not been confirmed. It seems the restaurant may have come up in a search result…. Along with others. No other evidence.

I'm still trying to figure out the motive.

Do you think he hit on the girls and they insulted him and ignored him? Then he saw the girls with their male friends and he in his mind feels he's better than their male friends. Gets angry in his mind and decides to do what he did.
