I have seen this but this isn’t what OP is talking about or her title is the most ridiculous exaggeration ever. I suspect OP is talking about something like this with a slight curve showing at the top of the thigh. And yes the majority of teen girls would wear these:

My mom did in the 1980s, I didn't listen to her. It's the easiest way to get male attention, if that's all you want in life.

In many cases this is true. Some moms need to relive their youth through their daughters. And a cursory search of this forum yields many posts by parents wringing their hands over whether or not their kid is in the "popular" group. It's sad, but there are parents out there who allow their children to dress trashy and do trashy things just so they can get street cred with other kids at school.

Let's not forget that global warming has made the hot and warm seasons last much longer everywhere. People get hot and wearing less clothing is one way to cool off. While it's sometimes about seeking male attention, it's often about physical comfort.

Those are just short shorts, which I think are fine. There is no a$& cheek hanging out. The girls at school have their tails hanging out. Not ok, especially for school.

Schools have air conditioning. There is no excuse for a%#es hanging out of shorts at school. It violates dress codes, is trashy, and is completely inappropriate and distracting in a school or professional setting. Not to mention degrading for females.

This is clearly some fashion trend? I thought modesty was trending, evidently not. Either sporty form-fitting spandex shorts (that leaves nothing to the imagination) or designer-looking cut-offs up to their lower butt cheek. Some girls looked elementary school aged riding electric scooters in booty shorts. What in the heck, do parents just not care anymore?

Modesty trending? Are you coming from the Amish land? 1800s?

These girls ain't cute. No one wants to see some underaged bony butt. Let me get a look at the moms doing daycare dropoff in some of these shorts though I need a real woman with some junk

It’s a problem. This is why there are pages and pages on this subject.

We get it, you don’t care if your daughter wears short short or earns her side income on Only Fans.

LOL i somehow doubt that exposing the bottom 2 inches of your ass crack is an effective cooling solution

I saw a video of a kindergarten graduation and there was a very overweight mother. She was perfectly groomed, looked nice and then she turned around to show about 1/4 of her butt her shorts were so short. Her poor kids.

Remember that AF ad or whatever it was with a girl in a bicycle in a thong and you can see her sphincter? Pretty much where all this was going.

You have to wonder about an adult who is fixated and distracted by the attire of a child so much so that makes multiple threads on the topic and leave multiple comments on the subject every day.
Weird.

I’m not ok with it all! But my girls don’t give a damn! I tell, make a fuss, say what they look like and they do not care. They walk out the door probably flipping me off. I don’t know. I’m at a loss.

Your indifference and lack of decency is what is weird.
