Yup just normal teenage rebellion and experimentation. Op probably wore "scandalous outfits" in her day. A lot of older woman are like this they have a very poor recollection of what they wore back in the day

To be encouraged. Schoolrooms these days are more beautiful than ever.

They absolutely do. Many mums get off on boys gawking at their daughters, how many likes they get on social media, how many followers they have, their daughter dating the star high school athlete or the attractive wealth boy, and like hearing comments like "your little girl is going to be trouble." It's sad and gross.

At the native level, these mothers are trying to highlight their daughter's health, sexual maturity, and fertility in an effort to attract a high-status male. You would think humans have evolved past that but that is what it is.

You're a real weirdo. Your posts are so full of hatred and misogyny. You probably think woman deserves to be raped based on her clothing or if she was drinking. I can only imagine the crap you are teaching your children. You are a strange sick person.

Now booty shorts on overweight women is what's really grotesque. Have some pride and get in shape society!

Teen girls are not all fit either and why the need to show off a body?

True there are some fatties in their teens. The obesity epidemic is awful now.

I saw a girl this morning at the dentist whose butt cheeks were indeed showing. Probably about 14 or 15 years old. Seriously the lower curve of the butt was hanging out when she was standing. Call me old-fashioned but there is simply nowhere that is appropriate except the pool or the club.

You survived. Somehow.

Of course I survived and no I’d never say anything. But it’s super trashy. And to the Afghanistan poster, I guess you’re ok with your daughter attending classes in a bikini or for that matter topless, and your son in a speedo, but I am not. And yes I have a boy and a girl. I also have basic standards for clothing and deportment. Which aren’t even that strict, but private parts showing is verboten.

This is clearly some fashion trend? I thought modesty was trending, evidently not. Either sporty form-fitting spandex shorts (that leaves nothing to the imagination) or designer-looking cut-offs up to their lower butt cheek. Some girls looked elementary school aged riding electric scooters in booty shorts. What in the heck, do parents just not care anymore?

Nope. Parents don’t care now, just like their parents didn’t care and their parents before them…

So just stay mad I guess? There isn’t anything you can do.

Yup, my straight A, four AP course load, student athlete, NHS high school junior wears them and you know what? I DON'T care. In two years she will be on her own in college and right now is time to let her be a teen. She knows how to dress for occasions when she needs to adjust her style. Literally MYOB.

Would love to see how some of these moms dressed in their youth. How low rise were your jeans in the 90s, mama?

I've seen these girls wear what looks like panties as short. I don't know where parents are these days they must be dead inside.

The woman in this photo would have had to wear a dress to school, probably below the knee.

I was wearing cutoff denim or elastic waist shorts with the waist rolled 3 times to hike them up in the mid 1990s. Kids are still wearing the same things today. Water is wet. Teens will wear revealing clothing 20 years from now. If it bugs you, you can dress your kids differently.

I’m sure you think that’s what we all should still wear! Barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen!
