Hmm, I guess they haven’t found her bag. Or it contained something crazy and they are trying to keep it out of the media. The person who stole it must have not used a credit card there or anywhere else nearby.

Apparently the Secret Service agents were seated at the bar, between Noem's table and the front door. I'm not sure what they can do from that distance...other than racially profile patrons who head towards the back of the restaurant.

It’s super weird. Because someone who gets close enough to the Head of HS to snatch her bag is close enough to kill her. Or plant a small bug on her bag, which you know she carries into SCIFs against the rules. Or cause otherwise cause actual harm to her or this country. She has a detail for a reason. She had professionals standing there and their entire job was to watch her and some rando was able to relieve her of her purse. He’s that near her and walks away clearly concealing something in his coat and no one who was standing there scanning for threats clocked it? Really?
