Donald Trump 'may not last White House term' as political advisor spots 'cognitive decline'

This would be more significant if it came from someone who has actually advised Trump rather than never-Trumper Rick Wilson. (For the record, I agree with Rick).
I don't disagree but what "fringe" Dem was saying anything like this 6 months into Biden's presidency? Or even 2 or 3 year into Biden's presidency?
As Comer digs harder and harder into Biden's mental decline, he's going to open that can of worms among Republicans wrt Trump's mental decline. Doesn't seem like he's realized that yet. But he will, eventually.
Biden just looked more and more frail and tired, Trump acts like he's sundowning in the nursing home.
Their declines are very different, and ordinary people react very differently to each of them. Trump is still full of vituperation and wakes up in the morning eager to enact retribution on his perceived enemies. Biden just faded away during his second term. That difference in energy makes Biden "weak" and Trump "strong". A lot of MAGA voters don't actually care what Trump thinks or does, they care that he has enough energy to go after the people Fox News told them to hate. The bar is extremely low.
So unless Trump loses his energy in a spectacular way, like Biden, he will not be diminished in the eyes of his supporters.
Separately, economic travails will push Independents and non-MAGAs who had voted against high prices, away from the GOP. In my opinion, this White House has already lost a hefty portion of those voters.
