You have the wrong. Dems are literally running over Trump supporters, burning up Tesla charging stations and keying Teslas. This does nothing to help Dems.

In Charlottesville the Trump Nazis ran over and killed someone. Dems haven't done that.

What do you mean? People died during the blm riots.

April 5th process will be peaceful protests. The blm matches were great. but obviously not effective because we ended up with little trump in charge again continuing more more destruction of the United States.

The fact that the BLM marches were not effective should really tell you something. Because the the BLM marches ended up being an extremist leftist event full of damage to properties and also people. If you think the April 5 protests will be effective I've got a plot of land on the moon to sell you. I'm staying the heck away from any April 5 protests.

The fact that you describe anything as “extremist leftist “ tells us that you’d only be coming out on April 5th to wave your MAGA flag.

You'd be wrong because no I would not - I hate extreme right-wing just as much. To be honest I've never participated in any march, protest or rally in my entire life....aside from marching to support breast cancer.

You support breast cancer?

I would but I have a toddler who is a runner and my husband is out of town on a business trip. I'm with you in spirit, though.

I just looked at CNN and NBC online to see how these protests are going and was surprised to see no news about it.

I think it's more like a movement isn't built in a day. I went to the Women's March in 2017. You know what came out of it? Nothing. On the upside I didn't feel like the government was going to send violent goons to attack us, and I didn't fear for my job when I posted pictures on social media.

For me to get out in the streets this time the bar is higher. I need to know exactly what policy or law is being protested and how elected officials intend to act on my behalf/in my interest. Just being angry isn't a strategy.

What they really need to see is voters voting for Democrats. That would scare them straight. But so far they don’t seem worried about it. I heard ine Republican strategist say that protests turn off voters. Bad memories of Democrats supporting BLM riots, lootings, burnings.

This is absolutely correct, but Democrats continue to ignore good advice.

This is absolutely incorrect. Democrats did not support lootings and burnings. They virtually unanimously condemned it. But Republicans continue to ignore good reality and feel they have to resort to smears.

it is not MAGAs burning Teslas. It isn’t even republicans. The arson of Teslas is being done by (say it with me):

- democrats.

Its such a weird civil war amongst the democrats. Dems are burning Teslas that were bought primarily by other Dems who smugly bought Teslas to demonstrate their Green cred. Weird.

I am not surprised at all. Their coverage of any protests has been mostly non existent.

If you’re still checking CNN you have revealed your age.

There are videos on X of protests all over the country and overseas, like London. Just search for “hands off rally.”

Here’s a link to live coverage on C-SPAN of the protest in DC:

Interesting....guess this explains why there was a group of 15 Boomers with anti-Tesla/Musk signs randomly standing on the main street in my town today.

You misspelled "Europeans".

I saw Citizen's app footage of the DC protest and it was shocking to see not a single person of color there. Zero diversity. All white people. Mostly older or middle aged with a few younger ones. The only person of color I saw was a jogger who paid little interest to what was happening and kept running along. Should tell you something. It really looked like a crowd of people who are financially comfortable and just wanted to hang out and unite with each other on their grievances.
