They don’t have $$ to bus people in like the Zionists.

I'm just saying that the conservative news coverage will focus on that group vs the issues that regular Americans are more concerned about. By all means have your own protest but on a different day.

Star Wars episode 1

The Phantom Menace

Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to the outlying star systems is in dispute.

This is a good point. Mainstream Americans find the pro-Hamas demonstrations both irrelevant to their self-interests, and affirmatively offensive in their genocidal intent. They aren't helping anything, neither the Ds generally nor even their own cause since they come across as homicidal instead of peace-seeking.

No it won’t. The protests are in different locations and times. Stop spreading misinformation and fear.

I have a nice peaceful location in mind. It's the closest to me and I trust the police there.

“Own protest?”

The fact that the friendly neighborhood neo-liberal identifies with the genocidal Zionists of America and Israel even after what they have done is why the Republicans are in power.

What they really need to see is voters voting for Democrats. That would scare them straight. But so far they don’t seem worried about it. I heard ine Republican strategist say that protests turn off voters. Bad memories of Democrats supporting BLM riots, lootings, burnings.

This is absolutely correct, but Democrats continue to ignore good advice.

This is absolutely incorrect. Democrats did not support lootings and burnings. They virtually unanimously condemned it. But Republicans continue to ignore good reality and feel they have to resort to smears.

Oh, my mistake. The riots the Dems supported were “mostly peaceful.”

Sigh. This again. What protests did you attend that makes you the expert?

Any protest/rally I have ever attended (Iraq war, BLM, as well as on the Columbia Campus - just as an alumna during reunion weekend) has been entirely peaceful. If you have first hand observations I would love to hear them. If you are basing your judgement on scenes shown by Fox News, please consider how editing can distort what is shown.

So your anecdote overrides objective evidence of violent protests? Seek help.

I realized my post mat have been insensitive to those who legitimately can't participate.

There's plenty you can do elsewhere

https://indivisible.org/

I'm sure there are other groups. Try to connect if you can and spread the word. It will be less lonely in this confusing time.

Well the ADL provides cover for them. They said Elon’s salute was not a Nazi salute and neither is all the anti-Jewish rhetoric on X.

The Hands Off protest is 12-3 on the mall and the Gaza protest is at 1pm on Pennsylvania Ave. They are at the same time and just blocks apart.
