God are people really that gullible and dumb?

The top sports talk radio host in Detroit went on a rant yesterday that the entire NFL season was rigged to get Kansas City into the Super Bowl so Taylor Swift can get engaged on the field after the game.

I repeat. Are people really that gullible and dumb?

I like her music. I think she is too contrived. I don't believe any of her romances and she is way too public with them. Plus, it's all played out to win over middle school girls. It's not how adults behave. She's a brilliant artist and in some way con artist, but there is something so inauthentic about her and her love life.

There was literally nothing "too public" about her six-year relationship. They quite literally hid from the public for six years.

I'm really into her, but I thought her dancing and stuff at the Grammy's was kind of obnoxious, particularly when it was just her and she was waving her champagne bottle and drink around everywhere. More "look at me" than "I appreciate this artist's performance."

Her last relationships was SIX years long. Hardly "inauthentic." And the vast majority of her fan base at this point are grown women, not "middle school girls." Those middle/high school girls from a decade+ ago have grown up.

Uh. No. She is like a Disney princess for the early elementary set. Taylor swift books at the book fairs, Taylor friendship bracelets. She is a capitalist princess and selling it to any age that will buy.
Didn’t she say she was in exile during her last relationship. That doens’t sound very authentic. Maybe it was like Stockholm Syndrome?

Her last relationship was during Covid and she and Joe Alwyn sequestered together throughout. Regardless, you sound irrationally triggered by someone you could choose to just ignore. Instead, you clearly enjoy ranting about her. Peace out!

I don’t dislike her. She’s fine, I like some of her songs. I think she’s a pretty good role model for young women, especially compared with some of the other choices out there!

+1. It’s fine if people don’t like her music, but I don’t really see what there is to dislike about her person.
