Do you like Taylor Swift?

It's not how adults behave. She's a brilliant artist and in some way con artist, but there is something so inauthentic about her and her love life.

Not seeing many "middle school girls" among her fan base.

God are people really that gullible and dumb?

The top sports talk radio host in Detroit went on a rant yesterday that the entire NFL season was rigged to get Kansas City into the Super Bowl so Taylor Swift can get engaged on the field after the game.

I repeat. Are people really that gullible and dumb?

NFL and Super Bowl being rigged for Taylor Swift is dominating media coverage.

I used to think she was a great role model. Choosing to be with Travis Kelce is choosing toxic masculinity and legitimizing MAGA. She’s png for our household.

I love her lyricism. I have at least 60 of her songs in a TS playlist that I rotate through on a weekly basis when I commute and work out. The Eras tour had an amazing production and was a terrific experience.
The negatives: she comes across as self-absorbed and is probably pretty insufferable as a partner. She has no sense of style.

How the heck is he MAGA? The right hates him for the Pfizer vac ads etc.

And disagree on toxic masculinity if you've listened to his podcast with his brother. Their vibe is great.

Please explain how Travis Kelce is an example of “toxic masculinity.” Actually, don’t. So absurd.

Just because it's dominating coverage doesn't mean it's true. I mean, come on. You know that, right?

Don't care about Taylor Swift at all. Go Eagles!

She's causing sports fans to truly believe the golden goose NFL is rigged. That is insane.

I really loved her when I was in high school and she was more authentic, but I still like her now. I sometimes wonder if this is due to nostalgia, as if it isn't possible to separate your teenaged feelings from a musician as an adult?

We have the same coloring and same-ish features, and I used to really try to duplicate her makeup and some fashion looks in high school/college and as a young adult. For example, I bought a pair of pearl earrings she was photographed wearing back in her preppy phase (still do wear those sometimes: they are cute). I taught myself to wear eyeliner like she does back then. I used to love it when people pointed out that we looked a little alike back then.

But I hate her current look: I think she's gorgeous and like her a lot, but I don't think her fashion choices today work for an adult woman of her age. I would love to see her return to her preppy/elegant era and update it, and abandon the stupid spangly bodysuits and middle-school-esque dresses.

100%
I’m the loon PP (love loons, BTW so thanks to the person who invoked them- powerful divers who don’t respond well to pushy people. Good company).

Listening to the way he and his family talks the undercurrents are there. And he’s now openly supporting the figurehead for the dismantling of the US, so like I said, if Taylor’s good with that, she’s no longer someone we respect.

There is no way every single player wasn't coached what to say if the subject came up. They have contracts that stipulate how to interact with the media, and when they make it to this stage, you better believe they are told what to say. There is nothing about him or his family that suggests any "undercurrents" of hatred. No way.
