DP. Right back at you. |
Yes - look into class size in DC's prospective major. Beware the university-wide stats that list number of students per faculty. Schools, even expensive privates and top rated schools, like Brown cited earlier, are deliberately increasing class size to save $$. A lecture of 100+ students is not at all the same experience as one with less than 30 or 40. |
So... you actually think all the posts that use laughing emojis are... the same poster? This explains so much. |
Continue to believe what you want. The only people fretting about the methodology used by USNWR are a tiny group of DCUM posters. IOW, this is not the real world. |
But no one has ever claimed UVA is "close to an elite private" either (ok, maybe some of the UVA boosters have). It's bizarre that you would claim either of these state schools are "elite." They are not. |
You are correct. "Boosters." |
No, but this person has a very distinct messaging style. |
Niche is crowdsourced. Anyone can contribute to it. But I understand that you like it because it ranks your kid's school highly. |
I'm not that poster. Why would you assume otherwise? |
Oh, please. You're not omniscient and you have no idea who is who here. |
What are you talking about? I never said what rank my kids' schools are. You seem obsessed with one particular poster and it's bizarre. |
Keep going with the smugness |
Never heard of this polling company, so I did a little research. How funny! Look at all these universities that are their CLIENTS! I'm sure they're not biased at all: https://www.artsci.com/clients/higher-education |
And you as well. Your posts absolutely reek of arrogance, especially this sentence: "So-called "t50" schools with ranks that now reflect their ability to be large, pell-grant numbers, etc. will always be on the outside looking into the group of schools whose intellectual character remains clear to those who make any effort at all to look." |
Do those colleges pay USNWR? |
