She has more degrees and experience than Trump. She’s definitely not dumb. But you have copied the GOP talking point very well. Shes eloquent but you guys like to say she speaks in a word salad, which is what Trump does. Boy, the basement magas are out in full force in this thread. |

Washington Post has a map to see where donations are coming from. It gives me hope for a Harris win.

Since evidently overseas media are reporting as if it’s going to be a Harris landslide, it will be interesting to see how well that map translates to the results. |
| I believe Trump will win. He has the support of conservatives, and I think the silent support of many others as well who've been impacted by rampant inflation and who are concerned about our border. |
David Axelrod called her responses word salad city on CNN last night. Is he one of the basement MAGAs? |
Axelrod has been critical of her throughout. I don’t think the Obama camp holds her in high regard at all. |
George W Bush had degrees from Yale and Harvard. So much more academically accomplished than Harris. Still didn’t stop him from being dumb as rocks. Degrees don’t mean much when the candidate cannot even speak publicly. We’ve seen this show before. Sorry. |

I'm from Wisconsin. The Republican mayor of Waukesha just came out saying that he is voting for Harris. Waukesha is a very conservative area and a suburb of Milwaukee. So I think Harris is going to win. I think General Kelly and all of the former officials in his administration who are publicly supporting Harris are a pretty big sign. He can't keep saying they are all "dumb" because the numbers are so telling. I think we know who the dumb one is. Harris will win. |

Have lived in Waukesha. There is no way Waukesha is going for Harris. |
Holy cow, the charts in that article are undeniably bad for Harris. Every datapoint favors Trump. - EV lower overall than 2020 - % R EV up, D down - % White up - % Older up Yikes |
I don’t care what Axelrod has to say. He has to say something provocative to get on TV. |
We know that Bush only went to Harvard and Yale because of Daddy's money. Harvard and Yale are vastly overrated. College does not make a person. A person who works hard and thinks will achieve no matter what college they went to. This is a show we have seen before. Americans know this. Americans aspire to what Harris is bringing . . . and that is opportunity to excel through perseverance and hard work. Harris can speak well enough and more importantly she has policies and will appoint smart people to also speak and implement them. Hopefully Buttigieg remains one of them. That guy should be running for president . . . hopefully will in the future. |
No idea what CNN is saying. I specifically said conservative media. CNN is corporate media. |
You would expect EV to be lower than 2020, which you may recall was the thick of the pandemic before vaccines. Virtually every state shifted heavily to vote by mail. The baseline is all warped now; Rs have (belatedly) started encouraging their voters to vote by mail, and Ds are WAY more likely to vote in person in 2024 than they were in 2020. That’s not to say I think Harris will definitely win. But the EV numbers alone aren’t useful as a metric here without that context. |
