That is not very presidential…wow.

Like, none of this seems on anyone's priority radar. In either political party. Which is a really huge jump in 5-10 years, right?

So what do I think about her clothes? Well, the OP's question is the first time I've thought about it ever (good sign). Historically, she's always come across very well on stage, like any other president or VP - which I guess means she should keep doing what she's doing: Neutral, well fitted suits that don't distract. Basically, same answer as Biden, Obama, etc etc. (To keep it party neutral, I would say trump, but i've always thought his suits are very ill-fitting and distracting; first time i saw him at a debate, I asked my DH what they hell he was wearing, because it was so distracting).

Point being: I am pretty excited we're at a place where, at least for me, this is a non-question.

You have an ethnicity too, you realize that right?

Me too! So many messages in that one move, including “I am not defined by money,” and “I care about women’s health enough not to constantly parade around in stilettos or even pumps” (heels are absolute killer for your back).

I like the chucks but the jacket is way too long.

Totally agree! I honestly think a little less of any woman walking around in high heels all day — like she doesn’t have the sense to t ake care of herself. I got into a big argument with my dad in the early 80s about whether women needed to wear heels to be professional — I convinced him then!

Meghan Markel is a whole other category of dire. She is a really unfortunate rectangular shape with no waist and weird boobs and her clothes just never fit right.

Yes but also the comparison makes no sense. Meghan Markle is a celebrity known for being a celebrity, basically. Kamala Harris has a serious job and an insane schedule.

It is absolutely amazing these are the “messages” you’re getting from a pair of chucks. I am actually laughing over here.

Yeah, that's how she ended up starring on a TV show and marrying a prince. Because she's so hideous and impossible to dress.

Are we not going to talk about the TAN SUIT?

Anonymous wrote:She is wearing similar to Pantone Merkel but with a better figure. Christine Legarde type clothing would suit her.

No, Legarde is like 6 feet tall with a completely different build and style.

Not crazy about it, but whatever, it's fine. She needs to dress for several days, and last night was not her night to shine. Hilary looked fabulous--hair, makeup, suit, all perfect for her. The only outfit I really didn't like from last night was the young woman from Texas wearing the off the shoulder blue number. It was a fine dress but I don't think off the shoulder is appropriate for speaking at a work event. And also looks so trendy so if they show clips of her speech in 20 years, she will look ridiculous -- another woman was wearing a more classic dress in the same color bright blue and I think it was much better.

I'm not one to use twitter for news (and I recognize you'll just have to trust me here), but lots of posters saying the tan suit was trolling all the conservatives who went crazy over Obama's tan suit.

I am the PP - and yes of course it was! It was her version of a couch joke. I loved it.
