So you think the school is going to hire 2 full time assistants? You realize ince is a teacher at the school and gets a stipend to coach. He will also be expected to coach at least one other sport. This isn’t the WCAC. Also, unless an applicant is as dumb as a rock, he’s getting into sssas. Ince needs to immediately reach out to madlax, DCE, trw, NL, VLC. .. and offer free or highly discounted field space to try attract families. He should also try and poach any VA families to transfer from any long commute school they are attending.

I'm sure Ince will target VA kids from Arlington or Alexandria making the commute to SJC who might not be happy with their playing time.

SS/SA and SJC are comparable academically, SS/SA might be perceived as slightly stronger than SJC.

I would expect Ince and Speaks to have some sort of agreement not to approach SJC families.

Maybe I missed something, but has St Stephen’s officially announced Ince has taken over as the head coach?

St Stephens has much larger problems than its lacrosse program.

I truly question if the school will be even be around in 10 - 15 years.

Its been under-enrolled for the past few years.

The current headmaster needs to go!

Public schools in Alexandria are not good. demographics are shifting younger and with huge facility upgrades the school will be fine.

"At least we are better than ACPS" is not a winning logo to get people to pay $50K/year.

Saints will be fine, and Saints lax will be better for this hire. Took a few years to get into this spot and it will likely take a few years to get out of it

Bigger question will be if any Cadets will follow Ince to St Stephen’s - especially any of the players who live in Arlington / Alexandria/ south Fairfax.

If you are a sjc person, how many live in that area? Otherwise, the number is zero because Ince and Speaks won't do that to each other. Even if some left, it would only be the very bottom of the roster.

Ince was the main recruiter for SJC and was more well known in the college ranks.

A bigger loss for the Cadets than they are putting on.
