Another Democrat switches parties to GOP

He lied. He committed fraud on the public. Plain and simple.

That is not true. He has governed on what he ran on. And, that happens to be more in line with Republican values than Democratic values.
There is a reason Dallas is doing well.

Lol. Dallas was doing well with a Democrat in office with Democratic policies. I love that you guys think a bait and switch is appropriate. If the Democrats were as well financed with dark money and foreign money as the GOP is, we could probably pay/blackmail Republicans to switch office months after the election, too.

Oh honey yourself.

First of all, I haven’t heard any Republicans supporting this legislation combatting dark money in any meaningful way: https://www.whitehouse.senate.gov/news/release/whitehouse-cicilline-reintroduce-disclose-act-to-end-corrupting-influence-of-dark-money-in-american-democracy#:~:text=Even%20foreign%20enemies%20can%20try,more%20during%20an%20election%20cycle

Or this one: https://www.whitehouse.senate.gov/news/release/whitehouse-cicilline-reintroduce-disclose-act-to-end-corrupting-influence-of-dark-money-in-american-democracy#:~:text=Even%20foreign%20enemies%20can%20try,more%20during%20an%20election%20cycle

And I don’t think we need to pretend that the Democrats actually get more dark money when Trump literally got 1.6 billion in dark money. https://www.propublica.org/article/dark-money-leonard-leo-barre-seid#:~:text=In%20the%20largest%20known%20political,helped%20end%20federal%20abortion%20rights.&text=This%20story%20was%20co%2Dpublished%20with%20The%20Lever.

And that’s just what we know about from the Repubes.

If this woman unseats the most liberal Democrat in the primary for this Louisiana State House seat, she’s going to all of a sudden “switch parties” and end up in this thread with all of you all saying “oh she just couldn’t stand how far left you’ve all gone.” But she’s a Republican plant running in the Democratic primary.

Gosh, this looks like what Dems decry as "opposition research"! No, that can't be - Dems would never do that!

They really aren’t. They’re getting the people who are susceptible to propaganda and disinformation.

No that person was a democrat. Ran as a democrat. Told the world they were. You do not tell someone in Ark, LA you are a democrat if you are not one.

Clinton did.

On the flip side, Democrats sometimes seem less like the party of human rights and science, and more like the rich guy who bought the rights to Human Rights™ and Science™ because it markets well. Kind of like what Musk did with Twitter, but in a less out-in-the-open way.
